Who's your pick tonight? I probably have asked you this before, but I can't recall.

I think Ortiz might have done something to his left arm, seems to really thrown it without any authority last round

    Round 1 Ortiz 10-9
    Round 2 Ortiz 10-9
    Round 3 Ortiz 10-9
    Round 4 Ortiz 10-9
    Round 5 Ortiz 10-9

Ortiz more aggressive, nailing Travis with jabs and lefts, Kauffman throwing back a little more, getting in some rights and straight lefts here and there, but basically all Ortiz with uppercuts, lefts and non stop jabs.

Kauffman is much more clever than I thought! It is obvious he knows time is running out for Ortiz given his advanced age and is using delaying tactics until the reaper arrives.

The only justification here is that it was all just a "work" as they say in pro wrestling, and Kauffman's job is to play the heel and milk the negative heat for several rounds until making the crowd pop big for Ortiz when he scores the "brutal knockout" they've choreographed beforehand...thus boosting his stock going forward. That is the only explanation that makes sense for this performance; otherwise Kauffman is literally cashing out and can't be planning to ever be given a televised gig again.

Remind me how Kauffman deserved a fight of this magnitude, again? For coming in directly off barely squeaking by Scott Alexander via MD?
