Fury won every round apart from the last, the first knockdown was behind the head. Fury also showed an absolute champion heart to get up in the last round. The word robbery is completely appropriate here, from someone who doesn’t like the word. There really isn’t a case for Wilder getting a draw there.
Honestly you should be glad about the draw, have never seen a ref buy so much time for a fighter on 2 different occasions. Slow ass count, fury gets up then ref asks him several times if hes okay then says WALK??!!! Bought at least 20 seconds total otherwise Fury gets knocked out or stopped. The ref wasted way too much time on both knockdowns. If you cant see that then theres no hope. Huge props to Fury he has amazing heart and has won a fan
It really wasn’t though, it was a shut out. Wilder looked lost and wild, he hit nothing but air until the last round. I’m a fan of Wilder, I’ve always thought that people were unfair to his boxing ability. I may have been wrong there, not to take anything away from Fury.
Thought I was done after Kovalev Ward I. Came back. Thought I was done after Canelo GGG I. Came back. Canelo vs GGG II I pay for like a sucker....but THIS? NOW I am done with it. The crooks behind boxing are laughing at us all. Can only be a glutton for punishment for so long. I’ve loved boxing for years - but I’m out. Zero interest in the rematch, and by proxy I have no interest now in Wilder vs Joshua or Joshua vs Fury. They’ve just screwed us all again.
