The drama watching Fury collect his senses after the final KD was just incredible. I think my gf became a boxing fan tonight.

Nevertheless, I scored it 9-3 Fury. But a rematch is in order and should be in the UK.

A great dramatic moment ruined by another corrupt pre-filled out score card.

The heart he showed to get up was awe inspiring, Fury looked completely out cold for the 5 seconds of the count and then the lights came back on. Was like a rocky film.

Fury was actually asleep on that canvas. He got up like nothing happened.

He took a quick power-nap and continued. Business as per usual.

I'll also credit Jack Rees for not stopping it. Usually, a KD like that with the eyes closed is automatic, but I'm glad he didn't wave it off. While I know a lot of Fury fans are claiming corruption, at least credit the ref for being a professional.

Also, I think Wilder was hurt nearly as much right after that as he was against Ortiz. It was a great call by Al Bernstein: The right hand ended any threat of a Wilder KO victory.

I don't think he was asleep. but I say that in retrospect. He was sort of down and saying, whoa I was hit hard and he took a few seconds to regroup and get up. His legs were not shaky so he was not hurt as much as people thought. He is a heck of a fighter and a warrior and he impressed me in this fight.

I thought Fury won it clearly, but who cares, cos something more special than a win happened in there tonight.

Fury - seemingly unconscious on the canvas - opened his eyes as if someone had quietly spoken to him. Not shouted, not instructed, no alarm; just a soft voice telling him he can get back up.

You see, Fury's life has never ever been about being unbeatable. He doesn't represent invincibility. He represents belief, even when you're at your lowest.

Belief in God, in love, in family; whatever you like. Belief that you can carry on and be okay.

I thought anything less than a win for Fury would leave me disappointed, but something more valuable happened instead, and is my favourite moment in boxing.

Seeing this man stand up after being knocked down is more meaningful than seeing him lift the belt. It turns out he was right: it is just a belt.

There are bigger things in the world

    Peace, everyone.

I think Fury might just be god. For him to do what he just did (schooling Donkey in his backyard) after everything he's been through and had to overcome: The 2.5 years of inactivity, not having fought anyone with a pulse in 3 years, the serious abuse he's put his body through all throughout his inactivity drinking industrial amounts of alcohol, drugs and junk food, battling depression/mental illness and suicidal thoughts, and then for him to pick himself off the canvas after going down like he was dead in the final round of the fight and actually hurting Donkey shortly afterwards is nothing short of miraculous.

That punch reminds me a bit of Tyson KO punch against Spinks.
