That's the best recovery I've ever seen.

He stayed down and nodded to the ref to indicate he was ok. Smart move

A few seconds after getting up he looked fresh. Call of Duty recovery

I'm not religious at all, but I've heard of various athletes saying things like when they perform the gods take over their body.

I honestly think there's something to it.

It was literally supernatural. That was the punch. That was the devil punch. That was the punch meant to catch Wilder a body.

This is what I don't get, he wasn't even on ***** street. Although he looked a little off when going for the clinch, so he might have bluffed it, but got his sense back damn fast and cruised the rest of the round.

Not only that but he started putting his hands behind his back after and landed some power shots, fury is something else.

It looked like he was out cold for about 4-5 seconds. I give the ref credit for giving the count and not calling the fight.

It was Lazarus like. I think Donkey's power got exposed a little in this fight but Fury got very careless there and that shot couldn't have landed any cleaner.

That said, I witnessed another Lazarus like coming back from the dead KO just the other day. This fighter got stopped but how in god's name did he make it back to his feet after this??

But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory.

I thought Fury won it clearly, but who cares, cos something more special than a win happened in there tonight.

Fury - seemingly unconscious on the canvas - opened his eyes as if someone had quietly spoken to him. Not shouted, not instructed, no alarm; just a soft voice telling him he can get back up.

You see, Fury's life has never ever been about being unbeatable. He doesn't represent invincibility. He represents belief, even when you're at your lowest.

Belief in God, in love, in family; whatever you like. Belief that you can carry on and be okay.

I thought anything less than a win for Fury would leave me disappointed, but something more valuable happened instead, and is my favourite moment in boxing.

Seeing this man stand up after being knocked down is more meaningful than seeing him lift the belt. It turns out he was right: it is just a belt.

There are bigger things in the world

    Peace, everyone.
