Most boxing "fans" are seriously thick in the head and have low I.Q's. Furthermore, they don't even have a basic understanding of how boxing is scored. Fury may have won more rounds, but Wilder scored more points. Let me explain, Fury could have won 7 rounds in that fight, and it would still be a draw. Wilder could only win 5 rounds and it would still be a draw. Why the imbalance? Knockdowns count for more than "1 round". Yes, it is about winning rounds, but also winning points. Wilder only needed to win 6 rounds to win the fight on the scorecards, that's round 9 and 12 with the knockdowns, and then win 4 other rounds at 10-9. That would give wilder 114-112. Now, if you apply your brain to that, it is not a robbery whatsoever. It was a very fair decision. I am a fan of both and feel it was a very fair decision. Fury fought amazingly with a beautiful game-plan and a very adept and smart new coach in Ben Davidson, Wilder not so good but he did have good spots and also the 2 knockdowns. Fury, for sure, got the moral victory; the comeback, the weight-loss, the showboating, getting up from the knockdowns. Wilder gets respect for taking on tougher competition and seriously stepping up in that regard. Most of the "fans" are Fury supporters, and like typical sore losers cannot accept the decision and shout "robbery". Just accept the result and wait for the rematch. It was a close fight, it could have gone either way and in the end it went neither way. Tyson Fury would humiliate AJ in the ring. That chicken will make sure to wait at least a couple of years before he gets in the ring with the Gypsy King.
everyone on this forum is now stupider for having read this post. i award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul
No. 1 - You are an idiot No. 2 - This is some poor damage control, are you a wilder representative? No. 3 - YDKSAB
sometimes after some of these fights ( like after ggg/canelo) id put it at even money that some of these people actually do represent one of the fighters with the stuff that comes out of their mouths.
To everyone that has replied on here, do you really not understand how scoring works? Or simply maths? 10-9's and 10-8's over 12 rounds. Open a Excel spreadsheet and type in some numbers and it might make more sense to you.
