No need for step downs, Fury needs to stay at a high level and keep fighting top 10 fighters. I'd love to see him against the Millers, Whites, Ortizes, etc. I hope it's not 2020 before we see him with in with Wilder or AJ.

I wouldn't mind seeing Fury vs Ortiz in the UK next. That'd be a proper WBC final eliminator.

If Wilders brave enough to trigger his rematch clause it’ll most likely be the next fight for both men.

Trouble for Wilder is that Fury will be much the better for doing those 12 rounds and will be a harder fight for Wilder in the rematch.

On the flip side, Wilders mojo took a huge knock tonight and he won’t be any better in a 2nd fight maybe he even starts to slide a little.

Both men would make very good money in a rematch especially if it’s done in the U.K. at somewhere like the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.

If Fury can't get Wilder or AJ next, in his own interest he needs more tune up fights to really get into the groove and keep working hard in the gym, eating and living right and most importantly be right and happy.

The man is already a hero given how he came back from 400 lbs, drugs, booze to pull off a performance like that against the most dangerous puncher in the world and he took the most dangerous punchers best punch and got up.

AJ's stock went real down today

How did AJs stock go down?

If anyone’s stock plummeted it was Wilders,
His power didn’t work on an elite
    He got roundly outboxed
His last opponent, Ortiz, looked ‘C’ standard against Kaufman

People are really selling DW short which Is mind boggling to me. This guy showed that sure you can out box him but he's always one punch away from winning the fight. Im sure 90% of the people watching that fight thought the fight was over after the knockdown in the 12th. Say what you will about DW but that dude can crack and you have to be careful from bell to bell with him. Fury is the slickest HW in the division and he nearly got knocked out. If you fight DW you're going to get caught sooner or later and your night is likely over. Thats what he brings to the division.

It’s as if the fight went completely of track from what most assumed. Wilder just didn’t end it, Fury fought extremely well but it’s not like he freely went after wilder as if he was confident it couldn’t end as quickly as it started. I thought the event lived up to the hype.
