Absolutely not. 2015 Fury does not get dropped twice by Wilder. I agree with Big John and give a rating of 60-70%. If they rematch this could go up to 85%+
Lol, that you dare to say this after the performance he gave us.. Fury would have even won the rematch more easily. Wlad didn't throw punches because he knew ye was not going to land them. Wilder is a much faster puncher and barely connected.
Fury proved me wrong last night, never thought he'd last the distance but he was definitely still not 100%, id say around 80-85%.
Wilder and Wlad are completely didn't fighters... Wilder throws whether he thinks it will connect or not. It is harder to avoid that, than the methodical Wlad. Whether this was 2015 or 2018 Fury, Wilder more than likely catches him at some point. He just happened to drop him twice in this fight. People need to stop making excuses and making out 2015 Fury to be some mythical figure. He was an excellent fighter, and still is. But he has been dropped a few times in his career, by lesser punches than Wilder.
He’s probably got about 10lb of fat to lose and a bit of muscle to gain to be back to optimum physical shape. I think that really he should fight a couple of top 15 guys to sharpen up even more before taking on AJ. Someone like Breazeale would be good.
He is still well of 100%. The guy is a boxing genius. Read Mayweather walked out in disgust at the verdict, fair play if he did as it was robbery. A fully fit Fury wouldn't have got knocked down late of Wilder.
His upper body movement looked a bit more restricted than it did vs Klitschko and he looked a bit too chubby still.
It’s impossible to have been 100% after that lay off and those warm up fights. He will be bang on the money though come May/September you’d imagine.
I felt this would be something like a 60-70% version of peak Fury but he’d still outbox Wilder and win easily. I think that was about right. Wilder was banking on beating this version of Fury and he’ll surely be concerned that Fury will be improved in the rematch.
I would say no. I was watching the open workout he did before the Klitschko fight last night, he definitely had more spring in his step. Great performance last night though and clearly won, deserves a lot of credit for the post fight press conference too; he has a great attitude.
