Stevenson Adonis in critical condition. in hospital

It seems like Stevenson is in an induced coma...

 

He's a POS. Canada is soft on criminals, in the US he would still be in prison. And we're not talking about somebody who stole cars or robbed banks. He raped and beat young girls, forced them into prostitution and more.

I don't wish that he dies or that he becomes a cripple but I won't shed a tear if it happens.

Some strange folks on here. I don’t condone Stevenson’s past life but some of the sentiments expressed on here show how small some of the posters really are.

 

Keep hating *****. Lol Adonis got wore out with movement, missing shots, getting cracked with that jackhammer Nail right hand and occasional hard rights to the solar plex.

But you’re right though... it was a good stoppage and the ref gave Gvozdyk just the right amount of time to make Adonis pass the torch to the better man and fighter. It was a GREAT night of fights

 

Our sport is littered with truly nasty criminals in former lives, and some during and post their fighting lives, Stevenson joins a long list.

Likewise many of our sports greats certainly in earlier eras were directly or indirectly associated with serious organised criminals & organisations, these organisations often made money from the prostitution in their cities.

We boxing fans who followed boxing in the 70s thru to 90s were in effect increasing the wealth of a murderer by the name of Don King, never heard of a fan saying they were not going to watch a King promoted bout because of his past crimes.

Our sport does not need another death or permanent brain damage of a boxer, so hoping Stevenson makes a full recovery.

I don't now after "missing" the first obvious knockdown maybe he was hoping of some miracle come back by Stevenson, as it seems that is who he and the judges from Montreal were there for, was to do what they could to ensure the pimp won... just look at the cards enough said.

Safe pick? It was the logical pick. Stevenson looked like toast in his last fight. Someone would be a buffoon to not pick Gvodzyk. Stevenson was 41 years old, and gassed after four rounds in the previous fight. You mad? His signature punch landed, and the ropes kept Gvodzyk in the ring. Props to Gvodzyk. I'm not a big Stevenson guy, but it's pretty much a fact that a younger Stevenson destroys Gvodzyk. Gvodzyk probably wouldn't beat Kovalev.
