The idea that Wilder could set such a trap and keep his mouth shut after the fight are basically zero I think.

Probably, yes. :) But he could quite well have started to anticipate, instinctively if nothing else, that Fury was going to try and get under the right and adjusted accordingly.

Let's see if Fury can improve next year.
In my eyes, he's still the man to beat.

Fairplay. I know that most on Classic don't like to rate until after retirement but I like a nice, dynamic list... no chance of looking an idiot, if I'm an idiot already :). And I like to stick my neck on the line. I can't agree with top twenty, but I have our current big three knocking on the door of the top thirty.

I don't think it would be too unfair to use the "expose" word, in this case. Of course, one could argue that everyone knew of Wilder's limitations to start with; previously relying on his athleticism and power, rather than skills. However, I think Fury, in this fight, just underlined that case.

Thoroughly enjoyed the fight. I think Fury delivered on some previously unanswered questions and doubts - emphatically.

Wilder got lucky with the cards. But, I can't wait for the rematch, which really does need to happen.

    Good fight.

Like a lot I thought that Fury should have been judged the winner, but the two knockdowns made it very close.

    Rematch please,guys.

He has a titanic set of balls.

Could end up surpassing the ATG he was named after just because of his incredible willpower. Iron mike never managed to come back from his setbacks like that, once mike Tyson started slipping it was all down hill.

But Tyson fury, if he manages to keep training with dedication, might end up the man in the division again.

However I doubt he will because if he is bipolar then his depression is bound to come back especially if he refuses professional help. I really hope he gets all the way back to his peak

Fury is still young enough to improve but most of the improvement will come form losing weight

Wilder still can’t box, but we know this.

Fury deserved to win. See my prediction about the judging.

To see Fury box like that after the journey he came from was beautiful to watch. Almost brought a tear to my eye tbh.
I don't think he could have been any more motivated for a fight , even for a rematch. It was his night and they robbed it from him. Rotten result. Wilder winning rounds 1-4 on one judges cards?? Ridiculous.

I hope Fury keeps motivating himself and comes back better for the rematch but its a big if since he doesn't have a consistent level of dedication due to mental health issues.
The best option for him would be an immediate rematch early next year. If he keeps focused like the way he is now , Wilder will take an even worse schooling and won't luck out with a couple of drops.

The judges robbed Fury of his moment. Getting up in the 12th like that is the stuff of legends. (Coming from a guy who felt he was overrated) he schooled Wilder and won that fight. I’fe Never seen a fighter as protected as Wilder. But it was nice to see him exposed so badly on the big stage.
