I think Hearn has been lucky with his PPVs to be fair. A lot of these fights have been utter tripe on paper but have delivered an entertaining night. It'll only take a couple of Haye v Harrisons to shake the model up a bit.

Don't buy the PPVs, go and watch it for free down the pub instead with your boxing mates, as I do.

Helps if said pub is moron free which it is at the one we use.

 

The whole point of sky in the first place was to watch these things.
Sky lost the Rugby premiership, Champions League and alot of England's cricket games but the price never fell. Sky sports is padded out with constant repeats and minority sport. Alot of women's sport.
Sky costs a fortune as it is, the big fights should be part of the package.

 

Well said that man - boycott all PPVs the way forward

 

For those of a certain generation and imagination the commentary on the radio is very good.

 

Women's sports should be free to watch, it's garbage for the most part unless it's some Olympics discipline like figure skating.

In US there are morons like ESPN pundits who think WNBA players should get paid the same as Kobe and LeBron James

Yes I've noticed that women's sport is being forced upon us , all part of the feminist agenda, alot of male sport has female presenters.

 

I thought BT did a hell of a job last night and with the promotion leading upto the PPV. They are now a genuine challenger to Sky IMO and I think they get my money for Dec 22nd.

 

The radio commentary will be better but surely in the days of high technology, it is sad that PPV makes some people resort to listening to boxing on the radio instead of watching.
