Stevenson was accused of having sex with underage girls, also accused of ****, but not found guilty probably due to criminal connections

he was found guilty of pimping though, Stevenson was arrested because he was part of a gang which forced young girls into prostitution. He also was found guilty of beating the girls and served a 48 months sentence. For entertainment, Adonis would make the girls box each other in the nude. The victims were aged from 17 to 25 at the time Stevenson forced them into prostitution.

he also pleaded guilty to aggravated assault after putting a fellow inmate into a coma.

Looked it up online I saw 17-25. Still despicable things to do, but I don't want to see this happen to anyone, and you have to allow people who've done terrible things to turn their life around.

C'mon a 17-year-old is hardly "underage" in the real world. He's many things but to portray him as some sort of Levi Bellfield character is a bit OTT.

    Damn.

I saw an interview with him a few days ago and he said he would beat Usyk. Jokes aside, he looked drained and pretty delirious then IMHO. Can't be the smartest of ideas to keep cutting weight at his age.

Hearing this makes me feel bad over my reaction to seeing the KO tbh, I was so pumped jumping around the room while he was still down in bad shape

Stevenson is an unlikable pos but if you wish this on him you are no better

Can’t see how our sympathies has anything to do with this, think a lot of us have been hoping he’d lose for a while now but up until now he’s been too good.
I’ve read many a post, hoping he’d lose by a violent KO which just shows in boxing what a fine line it is.
Amir Khan has it right by going to sleep nice n quick, prolonged beatings with a guy staying on his feet without answering back is what always causes these scenarios.

Let’s hope he can come through this as it was likely his last fight anyway.
re forgiveness this was brought up not long ago in a thread,no problem with anyone who can’t forgive such acts but at the same time it doesn’t mean we should hope him hurt.

I've been outspoken on my dislike for Stevenson in the past. He's done some things that are unforgivable in my eyes but I wouldn't wish I'll on him.

Bixi g is possibly the hardest sport in the world, as far as I know there had been more casualties in boxing than any other sport (not just deaths but fighters being seriously hurt, punch drunk etc).

I respect anyone that will put there life on the line for my entertainment, that's something any boxing fan should not deny, if you've boxed you'll know more because you really have to go to extreme degrees to participate in this sport.

That said I get why people dont show any empathy for Stevenson, he's destroyed people lives and in a malicious way that they won't ever recover from. I give him credit for turning his life around and not continuing to be the scumbag he was though and that takes a lot tbf. Many dont do that.

I really hope he recovers and lives a decent life, he has a family as far as I'm aware and I'll not celebrate a child losing their father, its been a complexing state of emotion reading about this today because I have a severe dislike for the man but at the same I would never wish this sort of thing on someone. As a fan of the sport its not nice either, it's a brutal sport but we always want the fighters to pull through unharmed. Hopefully he recovers and lives a good life going forward.

It sucks to see early stoppages, sometimes it affects the fight and the overall result. But you hear when a top notch boxer gets into a coma or serious damage and you realize that it'd be better if all fights were stopped early just to save one life.

Its a risky sport and all but I still think every boxer goes into a fight thinking its going to be fine when they leave, otherwise they wouldn't do it. Nobody would, everything thinks they'll be fine.

Its just unfortunate, I wish boxing was just a sport. But it really isn't. That's all, I guess I needed my personal therapy session from the boxing forum for the day lol.

For Gvozdyks sake also, we should hope the pimp pulls through. Fighters who unintentionally 'kill' their opponents don't get over it mentally and are never the same in the ring again. There are of course one or two exceptions.
