Although he couldn't find the knockout I still believe Wilder is the hardest punching HW of all time with one shot. I have never watched a fighter where I'm on the edge of my seat with nerves fearing for the other fighters health.

I thought he had knocked Fury unconscious with those shots and still can't believe he got up. All that devastation from a fighter who was 212lb, over 40lb lighter than his opponent.

Tyson was a great puncher but he's not in Wilder's league I'm afraid.

No but he was still a much better finisher because of his combo`s and right hooks to the body.

Who said anything about finishing? I'm talking about one shot power.

What the hell has that got to do with my thread? I wouldn't be surprised to see Tyson on the floor searching for his gumshield either.

Lmao Wilder doesnt break the top 5. Wait until he's proven himself. Honestly, Fury didn't seem wobbly getting up from the knockdowns, though he smothered Wilder well.

I have Wilder solidly in my top 10, probably top 8. His power is Lennox Lewis/Tommy Morrison/Jack Dempsey esk, not on the level of Shavers or Foreman imo

Ali in 77 wouldn't be able to eat right hand after right hand against Wilder, he is levels above Shavers in power IMO.

Silly reply, Wlad couldn't even put him down so does that mean Cunningham hits harder? Fury has stated he was almost unconscious and doesn't know how he got up.

Yes, he could have been able to eat them

Honestly this is sounding like disrespect to Ali rather than fanboying to Wilder

I just don't think he could or would at that stage in his career.

Honestly you are talking wet, Ali was far from Superman in 1977.

I remember the OP being a huge Bannerman for Tyson ?
For what it's worth Wilder has great genetic power as did Mike Tyson.
There are so many other factors in a fight though, I don't think it totally matters.
If it did , you would never have guys like Young beating Foreman etc,
