Most of the discussion of the fight seems to focus on the decision, Fury's unbelievable ability to get up in the 12th, and just the return to form by Fury

I havent seen much discussion on the following:

Do you want to see an immediate rematch?

If no, who should get Joshua next year?

What did this fight do for the stock of Fury, Wilder and Joshua?

Personally I feel the draw may have mucked up the road a little bit since the WBC and lineal titles didnt exchange. We have 3 guys clinging to the heavyweight title in some claim or another and the official draw did nothing to clear that up. I was hoping the winner would go to fight Joshua and the loser would go on to face a Pulev, Ortiz, Povetkin, or Miller type.

I like rematches for big fights and close fights but am not that interested in a rematch here, at least not as their next fight. I have to sit and wonder what a Fury vs Joshua fight would do financially in the UK. He doesnt have the WBC belt but most think he won and he in no doubt must have gained a large US fan base or at least a large group who would tune in to see him again. I'm not from the UK so I cant speak on his popularity there but I could only imagine the England vs Ireland **** talker vs classy guy thing being huge. Joshua is immensely popular and Fury definitely solidified him as a real threat again. Do you think the people running the show make this happen?

I still think Wilder can be seen as a viable opponent for Joshua, he lost a majority of the fight much like he did vs Ortiz but was 1 second away from Fury being counted out and landed one hell of a bomb. I dont know if the American market will react by thinking he has been exposed and lose interest in Wilder or see the power was there and still be behind him. Maybe Joshua and his people will see this as well most think he lost and his punch is real for sure and use this as a way to not have to fight him or will see his performance as a sign of weakness and double down on making the fight happen

I think I do prefer Wilder vs Joshua to Fury vs Joshua I just hope they all meet each other

Lastly, I have come to the conclusion that I think these heavyweights are going to have to be more reckless to beat Tyson Fury. Klitschko fought him very cautiously and lost wide on the cards even with the deduction. He did have a pretty good 12th when he opened up. Wilder finally got desperate and he dropped Fury in 9 and nearly KO'd him round 12. I know Fury is a counter puncher and being overly aggressive would play into that but I think these guys are getting for lack of a better explanation mystified by the movement and feinting and like Dennis Hopper said in Hoosiers "watching the paint dry" and losing mostly by inaction. Fury is not a ferocious puncher so I think it would be to the benefit of these guys to be less cautious and think less of what Fury is doing and just let the hands go. Wilder had so many opportunities to hit the body which is such a big target and nowhere near as elusive as the head. He wants these guys to aim at the head he sticks it out there. I just couldnt believe the lack of punch variety that Wilder used until later on when he needed to pull a rabbit out. Wlad, he needs his jab to function so it wasnt a huge surprise that he fought such a safe fight after it was taken away. Wilder isnt the same type of fighter as Wlad and I felt threw this fight away with a huge lack of strategy and setting up his shot. No real creativity on his part. And the scary thing is he still nearly got the job done

Fury is English and comes from a similar background to AJ who was held in remand after committing some crime runing about with his mates.

I'd be happy with a rematch or one of them fighting Joshua next.

The likelihood of a rematch I think will come down to how well this fight does in regards to PPV sales. If it does well and then the rematch is as lucrative as fighting Joshua in April then the rematch makes sense.

But if this fight did poorly and then putting doubt in exactly how much the 2nd fight does, then without any big guarantees I see one of them looking for Joshua in April.

Also if Wilder demands the rematch is in the US, I can't see Fury accepting that, that might push Fury into making the fight with Joshua instead. Same for Joshua, however much they offer Joshua whether it's $50 mill or more, Joshua and Hearn will have to have lost their senses to accept a fight in the US. If Wilder wants to fight either Fury or Joshua next he'll need to travel.

Personally I want Joshua/Fury over Joshua/Wilder. Wilder may have the WBC belt, but lets be honest Fury beat him and a fight between the 2 top heavies would not include Wilder.

Just me who DOESN'T think the rematch will made.

I think Wilder will want to cash out with AJ fight, he knows deep down he can't beat Fury because he can't outbox him or KO him.

With Joshua he is stiffer and shown vulnerabilities which means he has a greater chance of the KO.

I watched Shelly Finkel's IFL TV interview and he seemed more interested in talking about receiving an offer Hearn rather than a Fury rematch.

interesting i guess we have to wait for the ppv numbers to come in and see if that does anything either way for his payment position vs Joshua

They won't go anywhere near Joshua. The thing we learnt last night was that AJ is the real king, and he'll decimate the two of them, they'll be falling to the canvas quick.

Fury can beat AJ, just not yet. He needs to time it. Too late and he's met his match, too early and he's not in good enough shape. Another 2 fights I think and Fury is ready. He needs to stay up in Big Bear, it helped him so much last night. Once he's back down to the 240's, then he can go for AJ.

As for Wilder...well..it's only downhill from here unfortunately. He's 33, this is peak Wilder. Can't get any better. Joshua will smash the living daylights out of him. April at Wembley is likely the Whyte-Chisora winner or Usyk, can't see anyone else.

I think last night confirmed to us all that Wilder's green belt is leaving his arms one way or another, whether by Fury or someone else.

I've always favoured Fury down to styles. Didn't think Fury would get back to the level he has though so before last night I would of favoured Joshua over a faded Fury.

Still don't think Fury is even 80% of his old self, I think I'm favouring Fury though, 6 months from now Fury might be too much for Joshua. Joshua will need to raise his game to another level to win.

I hope next step for Fury is to enjoy his xmas without letting himself go. I hope he fights 2 to 3 times next year and 1 at least against AJ or Wilder.

Fury could school AJ now, and MR know it which is why that fight won't happen anytime soon. Wilder though, I favour Joshua and I think it will happen next year.
