Truthfully China Tyson wasn't anywhere remotely close in power nor in heart, will and drive.

All the most important attributes for championship fighting Wilder trumps Tyson in landslide fashion

Anyone whose had 40 fights against low level opposition will have a few headline KOs that they can put on a showreel. That said Wilder obviously has above average power in his looping overhand right and has shown decent power in the left hook.

    However,
We’ve got to compare him within the context of heavyweight boxing against his past & present peers. When doing this the short answer is he’s not the hardest puncher ever.

Even when reviewing all his 39 KOs, this “hardest punching heavyweight ever” claim doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. Nearly all of his opponents have taken multiple shots, including his right hand, and not gone down from it first time. A number of his opponents have been hit flush and stayed on their feet while many have been knocked down and got straight back up.
Now is the time to remind you once again of the low quality of his opponents.

Wilder has above average power, he’s going to hurt anyone if he lands flush and very few fighters could absorb numerous shots from him and stay upright.

He doesn’t possess the the biggest KO power I’ve ever seen in a Heavyweight, Mike Weaver, George Foreman, Earnie Shavers & Lennox Lewis to name just 4 were bigger punchers than Wilder. David Tua’s and especially Tommy Morrison’s left hooks were more lethal one punch KO weapons than Wilders right hand.

Wilder has ridiculous power, and though he was losing rounds he didn't get discouraged. He stayed patient which was a key to getting those big knockdowns. Many fighters getting clowned like Fury would have unraveled mentally. But Wilder didn't, he just stayed calm, Wilder just kept biding his time and waiting for his opportunity and it finally came in dramatic fashion. That said, Wilder (much like Wlad when he fought Fury) didn't seem well prepared for dealing with Fury's style. Fury was winning rounds vs Wilder about as convincingly as he was winning rounds vs Wlad. But the difference is Wilder has power in his hands and the ability to time Fury and catch Fury. Wilder is rangier than Wlad and throws punches with bad intentions. And although Wilder was throwing one punch at a time for most of the fight, he did show an ability to put punches together with that fabulous multi-punch knockdown in the 12th round. It was honestly an amazing fight.

Show me those highlight reel knockouts from the likes of Lewis, Weaver and Shavers. How the hell can you rank them higher? Shavers for starters was landing bomb after bomb on Parkinson's Ali and couldn't even drop him once! You're going to tell me Ali at that stage in his career could eat Wilder's right hand all night?

Read my other post, I’ve already said that many of Wilders bum of the month, low quality, zero ambition opponents have taken Wilders right hand. You bring Ali into this argument not me but now that you have, yes Ali took shots from Foreman and took Frazier’s left hook he sure as Hell would have stolen Wilders heart by laughing off that right hand

What utter tripe, Ali hardly took any big shots off Foreman. I see how you dodged my Shavers question. So you think Ali in 77 would take Wilder's best shots all night long?

Aaaaand one other thing, Ali isn’t taking right hands from Wilder all night because he stops him early! As does Frazier, Foreman, Holmes, Witherspoon, Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Klitschko x2, Lewis, Morrison, Tua, Mercer & Joshua!

Tell me again who did Shavers knock out? He hit a diseased old man and still couldn't put him down. Stick with football ya sausage because boxing goes way over that dense head of yours.

Tyson knocked out much better fighters and champions than the guys Wilder has knocked out. Wilder can punch but is a poor boxer who lacks boxing fundamentals

I didn’t dodge ****, anyone who can read and comprehend at the same time can see my answer to the Shavers question. I suggest you stop chewing bubble gum and trying to think at the same time it isn’t working for you!

For clarity, Shavers hit a lot harder than Wilder IMO but there’s also good evidence for it.
That Ali could take a Shavers punch is a testament to Ali’s chin not a detriment to Shavers power.

Again we go around in circles, I don't care if Tyson was a better boxer. He ain't a bigger puncher and that is a fact!
