Could you see an Usyk/Gassiev type scenario with Beterbiev? I can't really. Gvozdyk is more naturally gifted than Usyk, he has more power and speed but Usyk is a lot smarter, A LOT. Also I think comparing Beterbiev to Gassiev is just a straight slap in Beterbeast's face, I was never sold on Gassiev, dude really went life and death with Lebedev.

Lol c'mon man, he got knocked down once, and dominated him the rest of the fight. Yeah he was sloppy a couple times and got hit.

Going life and death with a debatably undefeated P4P ATG star of the Cruiserweight division is far more impressive than KOing a bunch of scrubs (sans Callum) if you ask me. And I think I answered your question in the last post.:D

Yes but, Callum fought his fight and almost won it, Gvozydyk will not fight his fight at all.

I wouldn't be shocked if Gvozdyk won, Beterbiev has been wasting his career. Probably not all his fault, but Gvozdyk has definitely been fighting the much better competition and keeping sharp, compared to Beterbiev, was probably RUSTY AF in his last fight.

Maybe, or maybe Callum Johnson is just as good as I said he was.:D I like Beterbiev, but I don't blame anything for his poor showing, he's a beast against average guys, but he's never shared the ring with a guy who can make him look as rudimentary as he truly is, Gvozdyk definitely would, Bivol and Kovalev would too, but I'm not sure if Bivol has the power to keep him off, but Gvozdyk does.

If he was as good as you said, he would've won ;). I doubt the Beterbiev/Gvozdyk fight ever happens.

Alex wins, way too athletic and nimble for the stiff Jack.

    Also, way more handsome.

Maybe if that crappy ref had of let Callum have a few seconds after that borderline illegal shot Beterbiev dropped him with in the first, maybe Callum would have had his wits about him to actually go for the KO after he dropped him in the 2nd.

    And yeah, you're probably right.:ohno

What?? Sorry, but that is a load of ol' pish.

Have you really forgotten all the pre-tournament excitement about the WBSS barely a year ago? We were chomping at the bit when news hit that Usyk, Gassiev and Briedis, all undefeated titlists, were willing to go toe to toe with each other.

Has it not occurred to you that perhaps many pro-EE fans are so inclined simply because the region happens to be enjoying a golden generation of talent? A generation that increases the likelihood that elite level fights are made?

Gassiev and Briedis aren't that good though. Bivol, Gvozdyk and Beterbiev are clearly special talents. We all thought Usyk was clearly favored over those guys. Gvozdyk, Bivol, Beterbiev is a toss up.

I never heard the EE fans demanding for Kovalev/Gvozdyk, Beterbiev/Bivol, Gvozdyk vs Bivol, etc. But they really really want to see Spence vs Crawford. EE fans asking for Usyk vs those guys is like American fans asking for Spence vs Vargas or Broner.

Disagree. Beterbiev is too stiff imo. I think Gov beats him and so does bivol.
