He is not from Mexico, actually. Or rather he was born there, yes, but he is American. Mexican American.

The Mexican judge was without doubt the WBC’s placeman to have an insurance policy if the fight was close. We can see Wilder is protected by them through the ludicrous, unwarranted safe mandatory obligations they have placed on him.

Here we go...another snowflake crying over a perceived injustice. In reality, the first 5 rounds were so close that they could go all to one guy or the other (and that is what happened) I had it 3-2. Fury controlled the 2nd half of the fight, but got careless twice. Had he not done that then this conversation would be moot. But although I called it even 113-113 I don’t think either of the other 2 cards were off or bad.

It was incredible. Not a person in the arena sat for it. I actually felt a pit in my stomach for Fury, thinking he'd gotten so close only to lose it then. And I went into the bout cheering on Wilder.

I do feel the ref gave Fury too much time to recover after the knock down. I'll need to watch a replay, but it was quite a while.

Those rounds weren't very close. Rochin's card was a disgrace.

I was on the fence all day until about 3pm, trying to decide to go or not. I decided to pay the PPV. I regret it now!

Had I not bought tickets the day they went on sale, I probably would've done the same. The rumored under card of LSC vs. Russell and Mares vs. Davis seemed to good to be true but I figured one of them would happen and that the fight would be a huge event.

I started feeling nervous when no under card was announced for several weeks, then the crap fest was announced. But, a night at the fights with friends is never a bad thing, and it turned into a great night.

Great reporting; thanks. I had it 113-113...change one round and it would have exactly like yours.

Regarding big athletes....baseball players are huge now. Many 6'4" and up....guy here in Dallas Joey Gallo is 6'6" and massive, but he looks like a little boy next to Aaron Judge, all 6'9" of him.

Yeah, once I saw the crowd, I looked at my son and said we should have gone. Glad you had a good time.

The question is, can either guy get up for a rematch? Fury may well go and party for six months. Wilder's disappointment must be terrible and hard to regroup from. Whoever can "get up" for the fight will win it, of course.
