Could Joshua have gotten up from the punch that flooored Fury in the 12th?

No HW in history has knocked every fighter out unconscious every time they have landed. Knocking another fighter out cold is not an easy feat whatsover.

Remember that greatly loved fighter on here called Mike Tyson? Remember those bums he was knocking out on the way to his title challenge? Guess what, he knocked only 2 out cold at maximum. Of course he's a featherfist alright?

No HW title holder in history has fought a bigger collection of journeymen, shot former contenders, nobodies and cherry picked old men as Wilder, so it's not surprising he's stopped almost everyone.

As for knocking everyone unconscious that's clearly a lie, Gavern and Arreola both were fully conscious when they quit on their stools. Malik "where should I lay down" Scott was clearly fully conscious even though he was faking it all, he was still awake. A lot of Wilder's KO's are actually TKO's as the ref has stopped a lot of his opponents and not even given them a count to get up. Luckily for Fury Jack Reiss knew what he was doing otherwise we'd have seen Wilder be given another KO over an opponent that was still conscious and able to continue.

My point entirely, Wilder punches hard but he is not special.

He is a very average heavyweight, who has fought 40 awful to bang average (that's being generous) fighters and scored lots of stoppage wins.

I believe there are other active Heavyweights who would have a very very similar record if they fought the same opposition.

People talk like Wilder touches opponents and they go to sleep, far from it, he just carries his power late in fights, so it gives the impression he is a ridiculously huge puncher but he isn't.

But he punches hard, I want to make it clear I'm not saying Wilder can't punch, he obviously can but let's get it right here, Fury went down hard against Cunningham from a single punch, a younger, fitter Fury.

Fury isn't granite jawed, so let's not pretend Wilder put a dent in a diamond.

He is a special puncher IMO, and for all we know he might be killing himself foolishly coming in so light. He has fought in the mid 220's before, big difference when you have such low bodyfat.

Wilder proved his power v Fury by managing to catch a heavy who is slippery as hell and knocing him out cold, it was just that Fury decided to turn into Lazarus and come back from the dead and fight back, but yes maybe Wilder`s finishing skills are exposed at world class level because after eack KO he couldn`t land another super punch, but hios power in out of this world.

Which can be a sign of overtraining.

I don't think he would have got the 12th in my opinion, he would have been blowing through his arse by the 10th round if he made it that far.
As for getting back to his feet, I don't think so. Fury took a couple of monster hits in the 12th and was seeing stars for a few seconds, but when he rose from the ashes of oblivion to beat the count he looked comfortable on his feet.
Dare I say it but if the round had another 30 seconds I thought Wilder may have gone down too, he looked ready to crumble.

Do ypu actually read what anyone posts on here. Where did i state Wilder left all his opponents unconscious.

Talking about bums and tomato cans, i see how you evade my point on Tyson regarding bums. How come Mighty Mike couldn't spark out these tomato cans on the way to his title challenge? Even the ones he outweighed? P4P his power must be terrible yeah? ROFL........

All hypothetical but ask yourself this.. If AJ had fought the exact same opposition do you think he wouldn't have done the same to those fighters?

Actually, Would AJ have made lighter work of some of them?

There's not one fighter Wilder's KO'd or stopped that Joshua wouldn't have, that's for sure.

Exactly, if AJ had Wilders record it would be "padded and worthless" according to Wilder fans.

Wilder in 40 odd fights has fought and just about beat a 87 year old man with a heart condition that wasn't passed to fight him 10 minutes before ring walks

And Fury, another man who was inactive for 3 years, abused himself with drugs, drink and food.. and had only fought Seferi and Pianeta in his comeback.

And now Wilder is "special".. GTFO
