Fury bashed up yet Wilder not even a hair out of place - where is this robbery? On the backfoot all night, barely landing any punches and on his arris twice - that style is not going to regularly win over judges. He roared at numerous press conferences that he was going to knock out Wilder - well what was the hold up for 12 rounds? No mention of the 20 second delay in restarting the fight from the 12th round knockdown - it was Wilder who was robbed!! Think he was lucky to get a draw myself as I had Wilder up by one round at worst.
No point mate - I watched the fight live and based it on what I saw from an objective pair of eyes. There was no robbery as I gave Wilder 10-8 rounds in both knockdown rounds and every other round was very close and subjective. I had Wilder at least one round up at the end. Look at Fury's only career defeat versus John McDermott for a proper robbery.
Wilder had a visible swelling around his eye. Fury has some red/pink marks on his face. Might have something to do with one guy having dark skin and one guy have pale skin, no ?
In his 8th pro fight, fighting a guy with 30 pro fights, (who he stopped in the rematch, nine months later, in his 12th pro fight) ........ and people still going on about it.
Jurgen, I love your contributions on here and this place wouldn’t be the same without you...but on this particular subject I strongly disagree with you mate. You know your boxing, go back and watch it again and share your scorecard with us, i’d be genuinely intrigued to see it.
unless you post your score card then you opinion holds no water as we can relate to the rounds you gave to Wilder to then determine what your opinion is worth. then again just replying to you is fueling the reason you post what you post so perhaps more fool me !
He was second out to the post fight press conference and it was very obvious he had make up on. Look at him post fight and in his post fight interview. Regardless his left eye was almost shut. His face was busted in a similar way to Wlads. The count started as he hit the canvas and the ref resumed it at 4 seconds. He is up by 9 seconds. You can time it yourself. Smoke and mirrors. Not really. If you apply the scoring system effectively there isn't really an argument for Wilder winning the fight.
The best argument I can make for Wilder along with the 10-8 rounds is two 10-9 rounds and they are gifts. That’s still 114-112 Fury. It’s corruption imo in the case of the Mexican judge. Edwards is incompetent. Both cards are an embarrassment to the sport.
