Would a prime Mike Tyson lose to any of the current top heavyweights?

No. Tyson was too fast and too athletic. Fury would take a beating because he can’t punch hard enough to earn Mike’s respect but his size and movement would enable him to last a long while maybe even see the final bell.

    Wilder is gone in 2.

AJ is too stiff and outside of the Wlad fight (who was 41) he hasn’t looked great against Parker or an Povetkin. His fight would be the most competitive but I think Mike gets to him for a Ko

I think Fury is the worst match up of these 3 for Mike.
He is so much taller than Mike, Mike would look like a kid next to him. And Fury being a lot taller and heavier could easily tie him up inside when need to.
With his great movement and defense, I can see Fury frustrating Mike and winning a decision. And has enough heart to survive some Tyson's bombs.

However, we don't know how would Fury react to body punches, so Mike might hurt him to the body...

No but you brought up "the way Tyson beat them."

In what way did Tyson beat Tucker and Smith? He laboured to victory if we are being honest despite running away with it on the cards.

No, I do not believe that he would.

I think Fury got his name from Mike anyway.

Count how many times Smith clinched v Mike and Tucker clinched a lot too, having said that Tucker scored far more punches than Smith did in their respective spoiling efforts against Mike.

Fighters clinch, get over it. If Tyson was too lazy and weak to do anything about it that's on him.

Guess where I pasted my question from? I just felt it was timely and I feel Mike and Fury would have been a great fight.

Best fighter in the clinch was Mayweather, it`s not easy.

Tucker would have given AJ and Wilder real problems and he would have beaten Povetkin, while taking his shots easily, he had a far better chin than AJ has.

Fury slips shots far better than Tillis did and knows how to judge distance and use his 85 inch reach brilliantly.

Douglas also got caught because he was overcommitting with the jab, Fury has a small stance, that square`s up often so that he can throw punches fast and get away quickly, you have quicker mobility from a smaller stance, Wilder`s stance is far too wide.

His punching power should be compared more to Wilder than Fury.... anyway, prime Tyson would be just as destructive now as he was 30 years ago

"Are we Hugh, man, or are we dancers?"

I was a skinny kid when Van Damme played a fraud called Frank Dux in bloodsport, but Tyson`s biceps are bigger than Van Damme`s and he punched harder than Arnie, all I was saying is fans need to be specific when explaining that today`s heavies are bigger and stronger, Tyson has bigger biceps than Wilder who isn`t a big heavy because he weighed less against Fury than Mike used to weigh, so why is Wilder bigger and stronger than Mike, it doesn`t make sense, he`s just taller, why would that make him stronger than the shorter Tyson? AJ is built like a tank which is why fans are saying he is on steroids, Fury has puppy fat and his arms don`t look that big, but yes he might bully Mioke in the clinch, but Wilder is really slender and his trunk is far slimmer than Mike`s who could kill him with his right hook to the body, AJ`s body is tough as a tank.
