Khan lost brutally to two of the fighters listed and didn't even fight Matthysse though.

Credit to Khan for challenging himself but his record overall is similar to Crawford's, only it seems Crawford's about to hit his peak whereas Khan looks shot to bits. This is what happens though when you start earlier, your peak comes quicker as the rounds stack up, obviously KOs don't help.

Maidana is the best win from the two, better than Gamboa. After that they are very similar. Alexander's probably better than Postol as a second best win as well but not much in it, you can claim at least Postol beat Matthysse legit and Alexander only won via robbery.

After that people forget Crawford fought and beat Beltrán which is a pretty solid win, at least par to Judah/Paulie at the times they fought. Burns too is probably overlooked and had a solid career, albeit with many ups and downs.

Crawford beat Prescott whereas Khan couldn't. After that you have a mixture of guys like Diaz, Vargas, Dulorme, Molina, Benevidez, Horn, Collazo, Kotelnik that sort of balance each other out.

Khan may have the better overall resume but he's achieved less and won't likely have it by the end of their respective careers.

It's about who you fight and beat not who you get knocked out by. Danny knocked him out and Canelo knocked him out. Maidana is another Horn and Collazo ( according to most ) is a bum. Judah was past his prime but here's the kicker, now he will be a knockout victim of Crawford's and can add his name to his resume.

Tbf to Crawford he hasn't had the names to fight until now. Only real.guy he could have fought at the same weight at the same time was really Linares.

Now he has Spence, Porter, Garcia, Thurman, Mikey, Brook, Pacman etc he doesn't have that excuse. His acid test is here though I have a feeling making the fights may be harder than some of them are in the ring.

By the way, who is this?

Anyway. Crawford would beat everyone Khan fought and beat. He wouldn't get sparked by Prescott, though. He would outbox even that prime Garcia although I wouldn't argue if you felt otherwise. And I don't see Crawford getting roughed up by Peterson near as badly as Khan did, although I personally scored that fight for Khan on the unicycle. Nobody else Khan fought aside from Maidana even has a noteworthy chance (yes, I know Kotelnik is a good win). So that means I think Crawford would go through Khan's resume at 36-1 instead of 33-4, a good improvement.

As for Khan facing Crawfords' opponents... Khan at 135 was pretty darn weak so forgive me for thinking Gamboa and even Beltran would have at least as good a chance at beating Khan as Maidana/Garcia would at beating Crawford. Indongo totally has a noteworthy shot at sparking Khan out with a sloppy haymaker. Jeff Horn is stylistically terrible for Khan. As I stated above, Prescott destroyed Khan so there is that (yes, I know that was years before).

Khan has faced the better lineup of fighters, absolutely no doubt about it. The problem is that he lost to his two best opponents, was a lame Joe Cortez point deduction away from having a draw on my scorecard against his third best opponent, and then also lost to the fourth best fighter he faced. So. Yeah. Crawford would do better.

The FACT is that during his "prime" and their "prime" Crawford had no promoter and did not get an opportunity to fight "the best." But for an injury Crawford would never have fought Prescott and might never have even had the career he has. On the other hand Amir was a known name and afforded better opportunities. All I know is that WHOMEVER they have put in front of Crawford he has beat them. Kahn cannot say that and has been stopped on several occasions. The "Yea but" is just folly and nearly as ridiculous as the post about Ali-Foreman vs Horn vs Mundine.

Crawfords resume for a fighter of his reputation and stature is paper thin. In the context of a guy generally regarded as p4p #2.

Our eyes tell us hes a great fighter. With great skill.

But hes getting into that annoying territory. Hes becoming a "would have beat him anyways" type of fighter. I dont like that line 9f thinking. It bails out the fighter who hasnt put in work.

Do you expect Khan to outbox Crawford early on as he nearly alway outboxes everyone for three to four rounds,he really is that good. His problems are well documented though as he alway gets carried away and runs onto something, not sure he trains well either for some fights?
