will be like next timeout...Knowing he can do the 12 whilst not being 100%, knowing he can take the hardest punch in Boxing and get up, GET UP FROM IT !!!! How the **** can you do that ????? That one fight showed Joshua and Wilder really haven't a shot at a late 240'slb well oiled Tyson. He could seriously be the most popular man in Boxing if he keeps it up, his skills and personality have won over every person he comes across in and out the ring, not one boxer that he's sparred with or fought has a bad word to say about him(bar Wlad), he seems to get everyone's respect. When he's done in Boxing, he will break everyone's heart that's got one, so its right here and now that he needs appreciating. Soak up the pure greatness that's bestowed upon us Boxing fans with this ATG while he's here
I really hope Fury dedicates himself to his craft and doesn't invest his winnings into a pork pie factory.
I just hope Fury doesn’t go berserk over Christmas and fall back into old habits. A 100% fit and focused Fury cleans the division up without a problem
I do think Fury has more in the tank but also you have to be wary that taking huge shots like that can also take something out of you in further fights as well. We'll find out and it's good to have it more open at the top. Joshua gives Fury entirely different problems to Wilder just as Wilder gives different problems to Joshua than he did Fury.
It's not unlikely that Fury will simply drop off the radar screen once again and balloon up to 400 lbs. His interest seems to wane once he has 7 digits in his bank account.
It could really go either way. I like Fury and think he was railroaded on fake charges for political reasons. In that context, I understand why he became depressed, but lets be honest the guy likes to party and it was not all depression. I hope he stays focused, fights often against lower level guys, and really comes back strong. Time to have those once-a-month fights with Briggs, Peter, Tarver, etc. and get in real good shape before Joshua. Forget Wilder. The entire world say who won that fight, and outside of George Foreman and a handfull of ******s, no one thought it was Deontay. Besides, Fury would just get screwed again. Onward to Joshua, who, by the way, I also quite like. Two great fighters with a great fight to be made.
I think that is the shocking thing. I picked Fury to win but have said that I dont think he is prime and back to his fighting weight where he is still shedding the weight but you are right. Imagine if he had of had a couple more tune ups!!!
Just “forget Wilder”, yeah just “forget” the guy who you fought to a draw with and dropped you twice. Solid logic and well thought out plan, obviously.
