Joyce called him out and King Kong has duly accepted.

Hope this gets made, what a fight this would be.

I think old man Ortiz beats Joyce.

Good fight but I would prefer Joyce to fight the Whyte-Chisora loser before Ortiz. Ortiz might just **** him up completely. That’s a very dangerous fight and while Joyce doesn’t seem to have too many options right now I think a potential beating from Ortiz could really ruin his career.

Well this was the whole point of Joyce signing with Haymon, to get big fights.

Ortiz or Kownacki is a logical next step.

Yes this would be a great fight and would truly show us what Joyce is about. Fingers crossed it gets made.

I really rate Joyce and Ortiz didn't really impress me in his fight with Kauffman...Joyce knocks him out in 10.

True that but a fight with either Whyte or Chisora would be huge aswell.

Really, really like it and credit to both guys if it happens because it's risky for both.

Credit to Joyce if he does take the Ortiz fight, but from his perspective fighting Kownacki makes much more sense. It's a more winnable fight, would still raise his profile in the states as Kownacki has some name value, and it wouldn't be as big a gulf in the levels he's stepping up from, therefore would prepare him better for when he does fight somebody at the top.

I like Joyce's attitude. I do believe he's up for fighting anybody.

Joyce wins via KO and finally puts to bed this bizarre Ortiz hype.

When you say bizarre, do you mean that in the sense that you don't rate him or that he's well overrated?

    Well overrated.

His best win is Bryant Jennings.

I prefer Kownacki. He would make mincemeat out of Kownacki IMO. Ortiz is too much right now.

    Great fight for joyce.

Winning gets him right up there as a serious contender .

Beating chisora or kownacki is less risky but also less reward.

He doesn't have time to play around, snatch king Kong's hand off, not many will be so eager to accept his challenge.

If Joyce cannot beat an old slogger at his age then there is no hope - he should get in there now and show it
