This beat down probably was the beginning of Oscar's downward spiral in his personal life

Yeah, I remember when the Golden Girl ducked Antonio Margarito to fight a midget, only to have the midget pepper him into quitting on his stool.

ODLH one of the most overrated fighters of the last 20 years.

DLH would've beaten Margo, style makes fights, Dlh used to eat pressure fighters alive, especially slow ones who were wide open like Margo

    Damn. That went by fast.

Oscar chose poorly and it cost him. No way he could boil back down so far in weight and still be effective. While style wise Margo fit him to a tee, I don't think he would've been strong enough to keep Margo off him either.

At least Oscar made all the big fights. He lost a few, but that's what happens when you actually face the best.

Please change your moniker. I really don't want to be confused with such an idiot. You're criticizing a completely shot Oscar who was nowhere near his prime with all types of drug and alcohol issues at the time.

Wow, the years do fly past. I didn't get to see this one live since it coincided with the weekend before exams. During the build up I'd assumed Oscar would 'Ruelas' Manny because of the size disparity. But at the weigh in Oscar had that weird look about his body from the weight cut, where his arms, chest, and shoulders had a weird, shrunken look. I knew things would go bad for Oscar.

In your little mind every fighter is "terrified " of your favorite fighters

This is the fight that really got me hooked with boxing. Seems like it was just yesterday, getting Dream Fight cable advertisements in the mail.

This was Pacquiaos favorite fight. This was the fight that made Pacquiao a global icon. But it was far from his most important fight for his legacy. And actually most of his prime occurred before this fight actually.
