Y'all sound like b1tches ha ha Calm down people, Chisora Whyte was a great scrap last time out with Whyte being consensus top 5 HW and Chisora being his best available match up outside of Parker and Miller. Go the pub and watch it FFS, couple of pints-£10, nice. Or wait a day and and catch it on YouTube or whatever. Complaining about next to nothing ha ha
Eh Day gave me buy one free, get them all free exclusive deal including BT Box Office, ITV Box Office and even the Palladium Box Office.
I seem to be in the minority who isn't arsed about parting with £20 to watch a night of boxing. If you look back through this last years PPVs and the value for money given its been more than fair.
I tend to agree, however this card is bad. Edwards v Rosales, Kelly v whateverhisname and what else? The main event will be brilliant if it’s 70% of what it was last time but the rest of it...
Jurgen my good friend. PM me on some of the links you use. The wilder-fury stream i had on saturday on my i phone kept freezing, annoying as hell same thing happened for Usyk-Bellew. Really want to watch Whyte-Chisora without these issues, while simultaneously having a grin on my face by not giving Hearn, Haye , Whyte and chisora a single penny
These people who say “it’s only £20” I don’t understand this logic. If someone picked a dog turd up off the floor and offered it to you for £20 would you buy it? Just because you deem £20 not very valuable doesn’t mean you should part with it for nothing. You’re sitting in your own living room, watching a platform you already pay a subscription for, the headline fight is starring a man who was a couple of punches away from being retired in his last fight and has lost probably every fight above British level, there’s no undercard and you think that’s worth £20!? Their last fight was brilliant, don’t get me wrong but why does that mean you should pay for it. I’ve said it before, I’ve seen two ten year olds in the playground have a brilliant fight but would I pay for it??? I say all this as a person who has lately succumbed to some PPVs as I can’t be arsed with any dodgy quality on the streams. Backing people into a corner where they have to make a choice between missing decent fights or paying out is wrong. After I’ve bought it I always feel like a slag who can’t resist a good smashing but wakes up the next day crying. PPV is fair enough for GGG Canelo, Joshua Klitschko types, nothing less in my opinion.
I agree. If I'm buying a PPV, the thought process that goes through my head is "ok, so I need to not spend £20 I would usually spend this week to justify this". That could be anything from having a few drinks after work or going out for dinner. If the PPV ends up being awful I look at the opportunity cost and think to myself, ffs could have at a decent steak dinner instead of that ****. I only splash out for certain PPVs these days yet haven't missed a PPV boxing card live for about five years now. Saved myself a few hundred quid in the process, at what cost? Watching with slightly poorer quality? Means **** all to me so long as I can see every punch being thrown.
