I know init. It's almost like tries to take away the spotlight on the dubious quality and attendance of his non-AJ shows, by spouting unverifiable opinions with a wink and nudge relating to "numbers", that will be picked up by his shoe-size IQ army of rent-a-mob twitter football fans. But I know he'd never do that.
how is a guy whos never left London fighting a guy coming off a loss a "global money spinner"? fans conditioned by boxing promoters, to think and speak like boxing promoters.
Lol Hearn is sat with his Twitter on his phone frantically refreshing the BT Sports Twitter page, praying that Fury has pulled out.
Mate Hearn has a massive show in a sports hall in Italy tonight. It's potentially a better card than Wilder Fury, with names like Andrea Scarpa and Devis Boschiero. They are expecting a huge crowd with dozens of people in attendance.
****ing lol the OBI Hall in the famous boxing city of Florence. Bravo Hearn. This unmissable action. Scarpa is coming off an excellent win over a 5-22-1 Croatian. All 18 of Scarpa’s fans will be watching ringside.
*DJ Khaled voice* “ANOTHER ONE!” Eddie Hearn on 2nd January 2017: “If I did Eubank Jr v Quinlan on Sky I would get absolutely destroyed.” Just announced now by Matchroom that Joshua Buatsi will be facing Renold Quinlan on Dec 22 - a Sky show. And not just a regular Sky show... a Sky Pay-Per-Pudding show that costs more than the Eubank-Quinlan fight did! To make things even worse, when Eubank fought Quinlan he fought him at SMW and Quinlan had one loss. Quinlan now has three losses on his record and is being dragged up to LHW on less than a month’s notice to fight Buatsi. This thread will never die, loving it. @NasalSpray
Not really the same thing really though is it? Eubank Jr vs Quinlan was topping the bill on a PPV show this fight is just an undercard one with Buatsi with less than 10 fights into his professional career
Hearn trashed Quinlan as an opponent for Eubank but he is now an acceptable opponent for a LHW who clearly has world level potential?
If it was Yarde he’d get trashed and most people believe Buatsi is way better. Quinlan is also a SMW.
The fight is fine for Buatsi at this stage, nothing special just a small step up in quality. There's plenty of stuff to legitimately slate Hearn for, no need to stretch the truth.
Acerptable fight for BuatsI. A step up from Averlant. I don't get what the latest hype Is around Burton and why he is suddenly the yardstick for any respectable LHW.
