If there was a heavyweight Loma he would enade all Wilder`s right hands!

Just watched a brilliant study of Wilder v Fury and the youtuber TheWeasle pointed out that a heavyweight version of Loma would easily evade Wilder`s right hand because he always moves off the centerline to get away from the right by moving to his right, what does that mean to fans who say Usyk is a heavyweight Loma? Does Usyk use this tactic?

Fighters dont scale up. Loma would be far the fastest and quickest HW ever with his feet and head movement if he retained his speed. He would make Ali look like a snail.

A HW version of Loma would be far slower. What I do know is Wilder KO1 Loma.

That`s not what I meant, what I was saying is that if a heavyweigt used the tactic of moving off to the right instead of moving back in a straight line they would evade Wilder`s right hand, Fury wasn`t doing this, maybe Usyk would, he trains in the same gym as Loma.

Ok thanks for clarifying. Usyk is far slower than Loma but p4p they're about the same speed. As in Loma is definitely faster, but for his size Usyk is about the same level of speed. And they both have good footwork and head movement.

I think Usyk could definitely evade Wildrrs right hands. But I'm still unsure how he handles the height and reach and power of a full blown HW.

Fury was able to mostly evade Wilder but he had a significant size, height and reach advantage.

Fighters have moved to their right to avoid moving into Wilder's right hand. Szpilka did it quite a bit. It's a common tactic used against guys with a big right hand.

But Wilder was still fast enough and had a long enough reach to catch him eventually. It's also easier to cut off the ring if the fighter is moving to his right. That's why guys can't do it all night.
