Showtime are having to do more PPV’s because of EDDIE HEARN. Can’t you see the link ?
Just how he’s made being a UK Boxing Fan more expensive, he’s doing the same with the US Fans.

He has inflated the US Market like the conniving cnt he is.I hope Al Haymon and his boys give Eddie a friendly fire warning to get that cocky grin off his face

Like others have said, the power is indeed with us; just don't pay for rubbish PPVs. It's not about whether or not you can afford it ffs, its about are you getting your moneys worth? If we all ONLY bought the Joshua vs Klitschkos and the Fury vs Wilders it would be impossible for Eddie to put rubbish PPVs on. Buying PPV should feel special, you should be thinking about it all week and the PPV should deliver.

Well, if a boxer fights for a world title in 2011 and punks out and blames an injured toe, pretends to retire but doesn't ..... THEN, at the beginning of 2014 genuinely retires due to "career ending injuries" ........ comes back 2 1/2 years later on the Dave channel against a couple of bums in 1 round fights because he lost a lot of his money, then convinces a load of (gullible, I'd say) people that he's on course for undisputed world title glory, but fights a cruiserweight because "we have serious beef", in a domestic level fight ...... hobbles around the ring with an injury .... well, the numerous customers acting surprised that he got injured are pretty GULLIBLE, yes.
THEN ..... despite witnessing that a whole load of them surprised when the rematch that happens about 15 months later (due to more injuries from the same) turns out to be a one-sided loss for Mr. Glass Feet, who by this time looks completely shot, that's a bit gullible.

    This is true.
Like I said, what should be the big concern for boxing fans is the inevitability of those truly worthy rare PPV being hoisted up to a much higher price. That's the problem. Everyone who buys a Whyte-Chisora 2 for £19.95 is in effect voting for a massive price hike when it comes to the real mega-fights. I can hear Eddie voice now, smoothly explaining how £49.95 is a bargain for the "once in a lifetime chance" to watch Joshua v Fury in your own home on your own TV.
Discounts for "Matchroom standard PPV Season Ticket Holders" ....

Hold on you can't compare Showtime to Sky Sports. Sky Sports is a larger package for sports with way more content. Showtime is more a movie/premium TV channel. Sky Sports and Sky Entertainment is £42 a month at the moment. You are paying mostly for football on Sky Sports. In the USA you have 24 million+ without the internet and 19m+ with slow internet so can't access streaming content. They have to get very expensive cable subscriptions normally $100+ a month if you want HBO/Showtime/ESPN. Showtime already have lined up 3 PPV's in just over 3 months at $75+ each, this means more later in the year. If you are lucky enough to live in the right area of the USA it will work out cheaper with DAZN/ESPN+ and Showtime subscription with 4+ PPV's (that's a lot of content missing out).

You seem to miss my point that if people continue to buy it then they will continue to put events on PPV, you can't whine about prices then end up buying it. It's simple supply and demand. I see you have left out BT and ITV who have both charged for PPV's this year and will most likely try to expand upon it.

I want cheaper prices we all do but the only way we get that is if one company dominates the sport like DAZN but then people will moan about monopolies so you can't win.

Showtime are having to do more PPV’s at $75 because of Eddie Hearn, why can’t you understand that ?
He’s inflated the market, by offering fighters inflated flat fees

The only way Showtime can match those purses/offers is by bringing out
Pay-Per-View. So Eddie Hearn has made it more expensive for American Boxing Fans by adding another service they need. ESPN, Showtime and now DAZN. Never mind the network problems he will create, by asking for Joshua-Wilder to be on DAZN

I don’t pay for any of the fights, i stream all the Sky Sports Box Office fights. I don’t have a problem with Joshua on PPV. But anyone else, blatant ripping off. Sky have already raised the price from £14.95 in 2014 to now £19.95 for all PPV’s.

Watch for Joshua-Fury or Joshua-Wilder it will suddenly rise to £29.95. There hasn’t been a world title fight by Matchroom on Sky Sports since October 2017. Boxing Fans get fleeced niceky by Eddie Hearn and it’s funny to watch

As others have mentioned, MisMatch room are really taking the pish with these sorry cards they are charging extra for on top of the rip off sly sports subscription prices.

Educating the mugs who are being fleeced on alternative ways to watch it other than line the pockets of these conmen seems to be the way to go now.

BT have used the PPV model fairly so far and haven't been greedy, hopefully they stay that way.

Frampton-Warrington tells me otherwise. BT are just as much as PPV Con artists as Sky.

If BT had put Frampton-Warrington on Normal BT Sport by paying the license fees. Huge props, but they didn’t did they ?
