In a recent interview and the word on the streets (sources close to Brooks dad) was that Kell wanted to fight in December. He asked Dom he wants to train in Spain for 2-3 months. Dom said he can't as BJS has a fight coming up in Dec.

So basically left Brook hurt that over all these years Dom wouldn't/didnt want to train him in spain and rather stay home and train BJS/others.

Its no secret he would of got career high payday from BJS potential fight with Andrade (i think he still got paid i believe) so he putting all his eggs in one basket. As BJS can get a belt more easily and the money is good with potential fights with Canelo/GGG/Jacobs etc

The most telling thing he mentioned was Kell is coming to end of his career so he has to look after himself and look what other boxers who are champ (BJS not anymore btw but will challenge again for belt) and up and coming (Kid) so he feels he take Kell high as he can.

It was also mentioned he feels with Kell he has to spend A LOT of 1 to 1 time which now he cannot give at this stage in Kells career. Before he was the number 1 in the gym not anymore as he has others.

This left kell hurt and dissapointed and he had to reach out to John Fewkes. He had no option as he was put into this dilemma. People saying it was Kell who dropped Ingle it was not the case it was more the other way round and Kell had no option as the writing was on the wall.

i appreciate you are talking about boxing related stuff on a boxing site, but I can't really fathom that people actually give a sh!t. fighters switch trainers all the time, part of the business.

    hands bags and purses mate.

I heard Ingle was caught bumming another fighter in the shower, and Kell was hurt over it.

Let's not try tap into Kell's emotions and talk about him feeling hurt. He is a boxer who punches people in the face for a living and has changed trainers, happens all the time.

Yeah Brooks feelings are definitely hurt that Saunders is getting daddys full attention...hell even little Kid Ghalahad has been getting more attention. Kell probably isn't giving up the goods no more. He tired of letting them have there way with his chocolate brownie.

Kell boxed in the States twice and both times Kid Galahad was in camp over there.
This time Saunders had a world title fight and Galahad a final eliminator for a world title in Boston with Jason Quigley defending his NABF title in Indio 2 days before. A camp that length in Spain would have been impossible given that Nicola Adams had an eliminator a few days before.

Tbf to ingle. Its been reported for a while brook lacks discipline. Hearns mentioned it quite a bit ingle as well. You can't just please yourself at a gym like ingles who,s got a lot of fighters to keep happy. Ingle came across pretty well to me....basically said brook preferred more one on one time that he was struggling to give him. Said he had no hard feelings. I think brook should have invested and went to someone known world class tbh had a real go of it for his last couple of years. Fewkes seems a risk.

Brook said in an interview that he tried Adam Etches out first.
Why would a world class fighter train with Etches or Fewkes who haven't trained one pro boxer between them?

Fewkes is more old school, he was better inside fighting his fighters use old school cross arm defence which you dont really see these days being coached.

Its no secret Kell used to balloon up to high weight and on some occasions Dom had to lock him in his house!! as he kept going home and putting on weight.

I know for a fact leading up to spence fight Kell was struggling BADLY with the weight as he got ill 2-3 times and his weight ballooned up and then had to cut drastically. Dom helped him through that so lets see, what fewkes brings as he doesn't look like a nutrition expert but then he doesnt need to as Greg marriot is Kells nutritionist

I wasn't aware Fewkes trained any other pros. Which of his fighters use old school cross arm defence?

I don't know the names my friend went there for a session, most are on the Amatuer circuit and he saw they did a lot of inside fighting stuff and looking on you tube examples of Archie Moore. Looked odd as you dont really see it in the Pros these days never mind in the Gyms here.
