joshua has knocked out all but one of his opponents and on average takes his opponents out in quicker and more devastating fashion than wilder . Not to mention his level of comp is leagues above Wilders

Wilder has better one punch KO power but Joshua's a better finisher.

There's s sucker born every minute, and the Wilder Con-game has worked well on the gullible elements of the boxing public.

What specifically makes you say this ? Look at what Joshua did to Charles Martin, a typical wilder level opponent .

I think Wilder has more of a one shot out of nowhere kind of knockout power. I see Joshua as sort of an accumulative puncher with thudding power.

Thing is Joshua can box to a points win if he wants whereas Wilders only way of winning is by knockout.
Personally as someone who has followed AJ from his debut I’m not all that keen on him modelling himself on Wladimir Klitschko, after his amazing fight with Wlad he’s noticeably changed from being a knockout artist to playing it safe behind a jab, against Takam and Parker he did this and whilst it may be smart it kinda turned me off him esp with that awful Ref onside against Parker.

I’m of the opinion though that Wilders power is just something unique to himself and since nobody else goes round windmilling there’s no point comparing em as they are so different.
I still think AJ will deal with Wilder in quick fashion like he did Charles Martin, when AJ just keeps his shape and boxes instead of forcing it he has more than enough power,I’m thinking those Charles Martin shots,Dillian Whyte KO and that amazing uppercut against Wlad.

Good call,I’ve said for ages that I expect AJ to deal with Wilder like he did Martin on account of him not wanting to give him a sniff over twelve rounds.
Fury is a very impressive boxer but he’s not the same threat as AJ,I’d say Ortiz is the one guy who actually took it to Wilder and he wasn’t far off finishing him.

Me too. Wilder's ko's generally look more dependent upon brutal single shots, whereas AJ's generally look more dependent upon overwhelming his opponents with a combo of size, power, boxing ability, accumulation etc. I think its fair to debate who has more single shot ko power, but for me Wilder looks more the part.

If AJ is smart, he will go back more to his hyper aggressive, "bum rush" style against Wilder. The chances he gets picked off coming in are probably less than the chances that Wilder eventually times him and ko's him if he lets the fight last too long, even if he's winning round after round and softening Wilder up. The longer it goes, the better chances Wilder would have, imo.

Yep that’s fair,Steve Bunce mentioned a while ago how Wilders unorthodox style is what does for folk with those wild winging punches that get you behind the ear which are meant to be the worst type of blows.

Good call that from Bunce I’d say, wouldn’t say Wilder is trying to throw illegal punches but when he’s swinging away like a maniac I don’t think there’s much thought going into it at all,be interesting to know if and how many guys have succumbed to those kind of shots.

81ZAR said it best. There's a difference between accumulated damage and one shot KOs.

Totally agree, remember how AJ used to look to take everyone out in two rounds, got tagged against Whyte but he really hurt Whyte in the first few rounds.
I agree that he should look to do this albeit with less emotion and a bit more control as you do feel over twelve rounds that he’d get caught if he tried boxing Wilder,ok saying just avoid that right hand but Fury is a defensive master and got caught twice so I think we can say that AJ definitely would get caught at some point.

Imo nobody has ever been in position or taken advantage of when Wilder over reaches and inevitably falls over,Molina a shared opponent of AJ and Wilder came closest to doing that imo.
I could be wrong but I can just see Wilder on his backside in the first round from a flash knockdown like Charles Martin found.

Yeah, I largely agree. I would favor an aggressive but controlled AJ over Wilder. He is a better boxer than Wilder (though not nearly so good as Fury). He should land on Wilder more than vice versa. And, unlike Fury, he can hurt Wilder much quicker. If he goes in with a gameplan to get him out of there within 6 rounds, I think he'd succeed.

But the more he tries to outbox him over the long haul the more he will open himself up to a spectacular KO. Granted, Wilder may be more beat up in the 10th round against AJ than he was in the 12th against Fury, but he was still beaten up quite bad in the 12th, and look what he was able to do to Fury. I don't see AJ getting up from that, or at least staying up from that, if Wilder lands it on him.

For those who take notice the big clue was when they declined to fight Wlad after coming champ, they gave fair reasons for not wanting Wlad such as inexperience ect but certainly from then up to Ortiz Wilders reign was a bit of a psy op.
Fair play to him learning on the job though but there is a reason they plucked mandatories out of fresh air which up until now is the reason he’s been fighting in front of sparse crowds ect.

He doesn't. He has just fought weaker competition.
