I heard Max Branning's podcast with Carl Froch, I think he had to have his tongue surgically removed from Carl's backside, never have I heard such sycophantic tripe, Oliver was close behind (pun intended).

As other people said Jake Wood doesn’t have a clue. His boxing podcast is for casuals, he doesn’t have a clue about even British boxing. Not a chance he knows anything about AJ, he’s just trying to get his name out there and make a name in the sport. He had ambitions of promoting big fights.

These organisation's sanction plenty of things that don't end up happening. For all we know this could be another wee game to make the Wilder/Joshua announcement an even bigger surprise.

By the way, I'm not saying Jake Wood's word is gospel as I already explained in the original post. The ducking of Wilder by matchroom has been ridiculous. But can they get away with Whyte 2 in April? I'm actually not sure now.

Fury might actually prefer to get another lower level fight in the meantime as he continues his progress, and look to fight the winner at the end of the year.

However, I've noticed in Eddie and Adam Smith's new interviews they have came up with a new soundbyte that fans need to realise boxing is a business and fighters health's & career's are the priority. Eddie tied this soundbyte in with saying Joshua will be around for 7-8 years so not to worry as has plenty of time to fight everyone. Maybe they are indeed still terrified of that demonic Wilder power.

Not a done deal anymore. Unless Wilder wants to give his belt to its rightful owner. I'm happy the WBC actually did the right thing for once.

Yeah that's what I suspected as well mate. Or if I was to doff my Bacofoil hat, Eddie has told him to drop it in to keep the PR up.

That’s a good shout actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if @TonyHayers is one of Jake Wood’s alts.

I have no doubt that given a choice team Wilder would prefer the AJ fight. Its the money fight and Wilder can't afford to lose to Fury.

Max should be more worried about Rainie stealing his granddaughter than chatting **** about AJ/Wilder.

Is it though from Wilders view point. It's estimated including ppv revenues Wilder made 10m fighting Fury, the rematch will properly do double the numbers. Both huge money fights. I think he will fight Fury if forced to keep belt otherwise I think he will stay well clear of Fury.

    Learn to read you dimwit.

Not once have I said his word is gospel. Just he claims he's heard from an inside source that it's a done deal and having listened to his casual as hell podcast, he doesn't seem like the type of guy to make something up. These actors tend to rub shoulder's with these walking suits so maybe he did hear something from someone notable, or maybe he's putting too much stock into the credibility of whoever it was.

The post then branches off into my thoughts on the backlash matchroom will get if they make AJ/Whyte 2 etc. If this is to get deleted then so should every thread that has a quote from Hearn or Warren because there is a greater likelihood that they are talking crap than Max Branning is.

Well remembered sir. Haven't watched a full episode for about 20 years, literally. Always someone screeching at someone.

Barmaids have been decent though over the years, Tamsin Outhwaite arguably the best of all time IMO.
