    WAC 36-12-140
Method of counting over a boxer who is down.

    (6) When a boxer is knocked down, the referee shall direct the opponent to move to the farthest neutral corner of the ring. If the opponent leaves the neutral corner, the referee shall interrupt the count and will not resume the count until the opponent returns to the neutral corner.

Just the first one that popped up

The count and the clock (seconds) count too.
It's telling that they had to doctor it to make it look like he didn't.

So did Charles Martin beat the count when he raised up at 9 seconds?

If you didn't already know, in that fight the ref done his job honorably and waved the fight off.

Show me your posts when you were protesting against the stopagge, if you felt Martin got up in time.

We've seen the videos of fury failing to make the count.

There is no justification for the referee stalling and counting as slow as 3 year old child learning their numbers for the first time..

Man, if you know my post history you know I protest against every bad decision and every referee f__kup I've seen happen. Regardless who fights and against who.

In the first video that came out shortly after the fight you saw Fury being down and upright in 9. Later version (Deontay approved) started the counter early and jump to 10 seconds at 9.5...
And even all of that was moot because Fury was clearly following the referees count, like instructed before the fight.

My prediction before the fight was Wilder by come from behind KO, and I put quite a lot of vcash on that as well.
But facts are facts... I was wrong.

No you have to be up and show your gloves by that time.

At 10 seconds he is at that moment he is erecting his body back up to stand.

I have never seen a fight get up at exactly 9 seconds and the fight not been waved off.

It's absolutely shocking how people can watch it and say it was all legitimate while going mental over the judges who were not in the ring influencing the direction of what happened in real time.

Well show me the complaints about Charles Martin then.

Let's see how much you love justice!

You really believe Martin should have been allowed to continue?

Post a link to a video where it's clear he failed to beat the count. I asked for this in the other thread and you ignored it because one doesn't exist. You also know that the ref had told both fighters before the fight that he'd give them every chance to continue. Wilder has confirmed this. You're wrong on this plain and simple.

    Don't have them.
Didn't even know he beat the count and I have to watch it if you're right.
But why you single out that fight that not many ever paid much attention too?

I know 9 counts and early stoppages (in favor of the Brit) happen pretty often over there and I regularly ridicule the Brits for it.

FFS, why don't you just bore off with your biased, agenda based, Wilder fanboistic BS. He followed the referees instructions and the referee allowed the fight to continue. Fury did as he was directed to do and the referee was satisfied. Anything else is frankly irrelevant and I'm no Fury fanboy.

If this is such a deal breaker to you, why aren't you jumping all over Wilder getting hit by 15 unanswered punches by Ortiz, getting a minute break at the end of the round and then getting a further 30 secs break to have an invisible injury checked by the ringside doctor. If you're so into the rules being applied evenly and without bias, tell me your opinion on that one.

Being up on his feet is "nowhere close".? I said in the other thread that I counted in my head and it was max 1 second out. You were saying 6 seconds out and now you're clinging onto half a second max. The problem with the count is that its not exact. Too many outside factors. In my opinion, the count was fair. If you have to use a stopwatch to show that Fury was up on his feet but not quite vertical, I think you're reaching a bit. You make it sound like it was way off when even in the video you've posted, it clearly wasn't.

Why are you talking about instructions? Who's blaming fury?

No one is arguing that fury didn't do as he was told. It's not Fury's fault if the ref shows favoritism and pretends he doesn't know how to count to 10.

As for the Ortiz fight, if Wilder had been knocked down and was presented with stalling tactics by the referee, then youd have an argument.

And no time during that fight was there 15 unanswered punches by Ortiz. That is ridiculous.

We do know that people like you were tearing your hear out when wilder was checked by the doctor.

But you are more than happy and proud when the ref gives Fury 20 seconds all in all to recover so he could walk off the hurt.
