WBC orders Deontay Wilder vs Tyson fury rematch

He'll be kept waiting and there's not much he can do about it. Remember Wilder only had 1 mandatory defence in almost 3 years and that was after about 2 years after winning the belt. Don't expect them to mandate the mandatory any time soon, if he's lucky he gets his shot after, but more likely is if Wilder wins, he faces AJ and Breazeale gets a shot in 2020 and that's only if Ortiz doesn't jump the queue. You can see why Whyte never took the supposed eliminator vs Ortiz for the WBC's 2nd mandatory slot, Breazeale might not get his shot until 2-3 years after his final eliminator.

But who cares, Fury/Wilder is a better fight. Location is going to be an issue, can't see them agreeing a location for the fight both will want home town advantage for obvious reasons. I guess it would go to purse bids?

 

If the two teams cannot agree on a location,can it go to purse bids or does the WBC reserve the right to decide on venue?

 

They should stage Wilder-Fury II in Ireland on St. Patrick's Day.

Either that or hold it in England the week BEFORE Joshua defends against Pulev. So British fans have to decide which ticket to buy or which PPV to order.

 

Fury will avoid the rematch just like he did with Klitschko i guarantee he will avoid it !

Fury is going to fight Joshua. He just beat Wilder, and to give Wilder another shot before fighting Joshua makes no sense for him. This is just what the WBC does. Now they will be shouting from the rooftops that somehow magically Fury is ducking Wilder, is on PEDs, and dont ever get a rematch/shot again for their toilet paper title. Not to mention they have just thrown Breazeale and Whyte under a bus, after already doing it to Povetkin and Ortiz. Yet people wonder why Miller wont play ball with the WBC, duh.

Fury can win here he just has to not get knocked down. Those knockdowns are the real problem, and both times he went down very suddenly. Very unpredicatably.
