Reiss is spot on. You don't just see him fall and wave it off immediately. Doesn't matter how devastating a knockdown it looked. How it looked and the reality are two different things. He was right to go and have a brief look at Fury, every ref should do the same.

And we know he made the correct decision because Fury was giving hell to Deontay at the end of the round once he got back up.

 

Anyone banging on about the count is just a bit salty. If you got your prediction wrong about the way the fight would play out, just own it. You'll survive.

 

By "helped him out" you mean he waited to see if Tyson was ok to fight on?

I don't know why you think people would give Fury more credit if tables turned ...based on what? I mean lets be real , Fury was robbed (IMO) of the IBF belt as he was unable to fight their mandatory about a week or two after the Vlad fight as Vlad had a re match clause that Fury had to honour so he got no favours there. TBF I can't see where he has ever been given anything except after this fight & most people are impressed by his skills, where after a huge lay off & weight etc I'd say credit where credits due!
As far as Ward & Kovalev ...well c'mon you're reaching there baby...that was a totally different situation, the Fury / Wilder fight was a clean honest boxing match with to great fighting men...in the Kov/ Ward affair it was rigged beyond belief!

I didn't put any money on anyone fool.....I recommended anyone placing a bet on the fight put money on the underdog who did win but was not rewarded . If you put money on Wilder you didn't win either you idiot !
