lol Hes a dumbass. The eye saw that Fury got up and won the rest of the round. There will be no subliminal messages if a rematch takes place as Wilder will get starched and the eye will see it clear as day!

Yeah, seems that way to me. Basically an announcement to say they won't strip Wilder if he rematches Fury instead of fighting his mandatory.

Yeah, the WBC have come out and basically said "err yeah, err over the last few years we have enforced *cough* WBC Heavyweight title mandatories (Shhh don't say it) and we will not enforce another if you want to fight Fury again.. but we won't force a rematch just in case you don't want to do it.. err yeah"

Seriously though, how many mandatory fights has Wilder had? In how many years?

Breazeale is apparently the WBC mandatory and ranked below Whyte, at this rate the WBC number 1 Whyte will get a shot at the title in the summer of 2025.

The WBC are a joke organisation, to be fair they all are a joe but the WBC is by far the worst governing body in boxing in my opinion, by far.

Just read the article...they didn't order anything, just sanctioned it. Big difference.

It's their way of saying that the rematch has their complete support but they are not ordering Wilder to do it.

I disagree, he didn't try to goad him, rather he went after him & missed over and over and over. While I don't think compubox is accurate to the "T" in general I do. Wilder was credited with throwing close to 100 more just to land a dozen less.

What will change next fight? I predict....Goad him in; this time meaning, it will be a game of you come after me now. 430 thrown compared to 327 thrown may be worse 2nd fight, unless Wilder clobbers him earlier. & due to his unorthodox punching it will probably be some top of the head, side of the head, behind the ear equilibrium shot. To which Wilder will go WILD and go for the kill.

We know its the shot you don't see right? Well who in the heck can pinpoint where a Deontay shot is gonna land? And Fury did say his pwer is real. If Wilder lands flush? Nighty-night, so much for outclassed. Winning aint always pretty.

    True.

For me...If anyone backs out, I say it's Fury. Maybe he goes after AJ. Wilder has too much riding on the rematch. & contrary to most Wilder critics, I think he isn't happy about his performance and wants/needs to prove himself.

Could anyone clarify, what is next after the WBC "sanctioned" a rematch? What/who/how?
