he beats shawn porter in his own backyard, then suffers a horrific attack where he was stabbed 3 times. he makes a full recovery and makes 3 successful defences of his ibf title.. play down the opponents all you want but he had just recovered from a stabbing and 2 of them were mandatorys, let me add after brook smashed jo jo dan to bits jarret hurd fought him a year later??? after 3 successful defences he shows the type of guy he is by stepping up 2 weight divisions to face at the time the most feared man in boxing, and kell did not run in that fight he went to war and was pushing ggg back at times, then he broke his eye socket(let me add he was beating ggg on points at the time of stoppage). does he retire? does he ask for an easy comeback fight? no he comes back and fights errol spence and suffers another eye socket injury (let me add he was beating spence on points at the time of stoppage). does he retire ? no he returns again with a 2nd round knockout at 154lb and another win last night against a very game opponent. brook has been stabbed 3 times and 2 broken eye sockets and hes still there winning fights chasing world titles and big fights and you guys question him lol?

This guys is a warrior and has overcame so much and does not get the credit he deserves

hes proved he is world class in one fight but nothing else.

and yet people claim hes a "warrior". This, the massive exaggeration for winning one fight - is where the hate stems from - not from anything else.

If people just stuck to claiming that hes a one hit wonder so far, noone would hate on him.

His last good win was Shawn Porter - and even that was very close.

Hearn has protected him to get the Khan fight but also threw him to the wolves when he put him in there against GGG.

Haven't seen much hate for him on here recently... It's just a common agreement that he's clearly not the same fighter anymore. He looked really average last night. Did the weight cut play a bit of a role? Probably. But even a drained Brook should have beaten that guy with less difficulty.

He’s a solid pro and was a good champion and nothing’s wrong with that. ( everyone can’t be great)

It was well known but there were rumours there was more to it than a "random" attack didn't it occur in Marbella or something also?

With two once broken eye sockets, what is he going to do now with a glass face?

I’m a Brook fan but he looks slower now by half a step, his defence was poor albeit he still won nearly every round.

I love Brook and he was a top top fighter, maybe still will be but he was a shadow of his former self yesterday, slower, his reflexes seemed off his timing was off, he was much slower on his feet...

Yep, Brook is his own worst enemy. He should have never jumped up to face G. But he deserves huge respect for doing so. Then to come back and face Spence? Some say there is a fine line between bravery and stupidity. Brook crossed that line when he chose to make his come back fight against Spence. Oh, I hate to brake it to you but, Spence was comfortably ahead on the score cards at the time of the stoppage. He had outlanded Brook by over 100 punches. Landed more power shots and jabs at a higher %. He was ahead on all 3 judges cards. Spence dominated that fight.
