Usyk is 31 and we know he's moving up to HW. 31 isn't old at HW but a lot of things that make Usyk special will desert him in 4 or 5 years.

If this fight is going to get made - it would need to be made pretty quickly. Gotta believe that Ward would want a feeling-out fight at CW before tackling Usyk.If this fight is going to get made - it would need to be made pretty quickly. Gotta believe that Ward would want a feeling-out fight at CW before tackling Usyk...so this fight probably can't happen until late spring/early summer.

I think the box office would have to be pretty big for Usyk to be willing to wait, but we will see.

An Ortiz/Usyk be a very interesting fight or Usyk/Povetkin. These are the fights he should be thinking about. Weren't Usyk fans saying he would be the most talented heavy when he moves up? Yet they now want him to fight a retired light heavyweight. LOL

    KKKovalev lovers.

Ask yourself this....where are Kovalev's glory supporters now? They've abandoned their hero because he isnt the superhero they expected and now follow Usyk around like little groupies.

Cause Usyk is everything Ward is not.
Ward still gets upset about the lack of love he got, despite being only second to Floyd in terms of talent he chose to stink out every fight he was involved in and only fought when venue and Ref was onside.
Trust me that kinda stuff is not lost on fans.

Im noticing that you are one massive cuck. What does Usyk have to do with Kovalev? Dont get mad that the privileged Andre Ward needed corrupt officiating to defeat The Krusher.

Kovalev is past his prime now.

You mean like the Floyd fans that went to Crawford? And now push the same agenda towards Lomachenko?
You mean like the Floyd fans that now ride Canelo to the point they dismiss blatant cheating to fit the agenda?

Sit down fella. You know damn well it goes both ways.

Why would I not like Kovalev anymore? He's an excellent boxer with training problems. Now that he's getting older he has a cardio hole that's not getting plugged. He's still very skilled and great to watch. * shrug * I think you're seeing things that you want to see.

I have been hoping for this one for awhile. If Ward is serious about a heavyweight fight, he might want to try on a dynamic cruiser first. For Usyk, it is a potential in over an ATG fighter.

I don't see this happening. I don't know why but it certainly does nothing for Usyk towards attaining his goal of HW Champ. Its a lose-lose situation for him.

This Usyk knows he's too puny to step up to the heavyweight division. He'll never step up to heavyweight and challenge Wilder or Joshua! Just want it to hurry up happen! Getting sick of all this hype!

Beating the brakes off is a funny way to describe getting a very controversial decision that even Ward's biggest fans say could of gone either way and the majority scored against him.

Anyway I'd like to see him back where he belongs at 175 and there are plenty of good match ups for him there.

I'd expect him to lose to Usyk at 200 lbs. He's good but smaller than the also very good but larger Usyk.
