It was agreed for 10 in the end, there’s interview with David’s trainer on boxing asylum. breakdown is David had a 4 week camp at first fight was going to be 10 rounds and at 150 then matchroom wanted some random trinket on the line so it got put to 147 and 12 rounds witch David’s camp was happy with then booth and Kelly wanted it changed to 10 rounder David’s team eventually agreed after guarantee’s if he won he would get big fight and if he lost he would get a comeback 8 rounder. David’s trainer had heard rumours josh was struggling to make weight booth came to the rules meeting and hour and half later Kelly pulled out with no explanation more than he was ill and booth and Kelly left the hotel straight away all very suspect it’s my feeling that they ****ed up the weight cut bad. That's not the issue why did booth go to the rules meeting midday day of the fight, THEN 80 Mins later him and Kelly leave the hotel and venue and a press release goes up the fight it off. If they rbouvbt the fight was on and hoped 80 mins later Kelly be suddenly make.a recovery? I think it was clear they ducked it before PBK got beat. Booth is lying PBK was ill he was walking fine from the hotel to the waiting car.
This whole situation stinks really and shows a complete lack of respect. They could have pulled out before and let the lad get paid against another opponent but they took the ****. Boxers at that level can't afford to just be thrown away like that because some young prospect has a cold.
Doesnt bode well for Kelly if he can't make 147. 154 is a complete different ball game, people like Fowler would be way too big for him.
As i’ve asked earlier does anyone know if Kelly has had any weight making issues in the past? To be fair the lad always looks in top top condition for every fight.

Eddie said in a recent interview that he would be getting some reimbursement, maybe just to cover training camp etc, it's better than nothing but not as good as the purse hed of earned. Eddie said Kelly won't be getting anything

Maybe an unpopular opinion but the ref done him a big favour there and maybe he saw something in his eyes that we didn’t. I don’t think that fight was gonna get any better Lej, well done to David.
