In both situations, I can't see Mikey's stocky and pudgy ass dropping back down to 135. If Mikey beats Spence, he'll likely continue at welter for big money fights. Will it happen at 140? 137 catchweight?

He wont beat Spence, he'll drop a weight below to 140 after eventually getting overwhelmed in a competitive fight

If they do fight at 140 or 137 it would make a good P4P comparison between Loma and Spence but Garcia will gas by being so drained at these weights, Loma is a constant puncher, you need al your stamina just to stay with him.

If Mikey beats Spence Loma would move up and fight Mikey for a title at 147 and a chance to put Mikey on his resume. However, if Mikey loses to Spence it kind of takes a lot of value out of the fight between Loma and Mikey, but the fight would most likely still happen at some point.

Can't argue with you, except I don't see Lomo at 147 being strong enough to either punch or get hit. 140 would be good for a Garcia-Lomo match. And I think Garcia would be hurt by going down in weight, even 7 pounds. It's always harder to go down after blowing up a bit. Just heard Andre Ward say that as well.

140 and even 137 don't make sense for this fight, because all the lightweight belts can't be on the line in that case. Mikey made weight for the Robert Easter Jr. fight without any (apparent, at least) problems. So, if/when he loses to Spence and says that he's unable to make 135 anymore, that would be rather an excuse...
