Apparently hes on the Whyte/Chisora card. Was impressive again against Ustinov especially off the back off the Bakole win. I wonder who his next opponent could be? Carlos Takam maybe?
Who is he promoted by? Wouldn't be surprised to see Hearn sign him up for DAZN, if he hasn't already.
Starting to really live up to his “Bounty Hunter” moniker and I’m enjoying his work. What a chance Bakole missed in hindsight. Had he taken out Hunter he’s the one who would have been thrown the opportunity to face Ustinov on Sky and future Matchroom shows.
Not sure but think Martin has a promotional agreement with the McGuigans and channel 5 so doubt that would have happened
Good signing for them, I would say. Not only a capable fighter (for his size) but his only L was to Usyk and he seems a very likable person too. Personally like his willingness. He's on a quick turnaround and fighting Bakole was a risky move for him (as was Usyk at the time).
Don't really get the hype around this fella, I must be missing something. Watched him against Bakole and thought he was technically poor, seemed all over the place to me at times. looked out of shape and unfit as well. I'll have to try and watch some of his other fights because he seems to be quite highly regarded on here.
I agree and he has said he can still make Cruiser so with Usyk up at Heavy he can be a real force at Cruiserweight
Technically he is pretty good but his flabby frame and conditioning make him look a bit sloppy. He gassed badly against Bakole. Seems to have the knack against bigger opponents but make no mistake Joshua and Wilder put this guy straight to sleep.
