In the universe of fantasy heaven and in terms of one card on one night involving the most anticipation, popularity and promotable boxing entertainment.

James J. Jefferies vs Jack Johnson
Joe Louis vs Max Schmeling ll
Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier l
Sugar Ray Leonard vs Roberto Duran ll
Gene Tunney vs Jack Dempsey ll
Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield ll

(notice that five of the six listed are heavyweights)

I leave off Mayweather/Pacquiao because we all knew in advance that it was long overdue and past their primes and also Mayweather/McGregor because it was just a circus.

This is the fightcard I'd probably most like to see (all 15 round contests).

    Double main event:
-Muhammad Ali v Joe Louis (Undisputed Heavyweight Championship)
-Sugar Ray Robinson v Harry Greb (World Middleweight Championship and contest for the undisputed p4p championship of the world)

    Undercard:
    -Rocky Marciano v Joe Frazier
-Sugar Ray Leonard v Jose Napoles (World Welterweight Championship)
-Roberto Duran v Alexis Arguello (World Lightweight Championship)
-Archie Moore v Bob Foster (World Light Heavyweight Championship)

the 'no mas' fight had more quality than Holy v Tyson, even though Duran was around the same age Tyson was when fighting Holy in `96 the audience knew he was coming off an amazing performance, there was amazing hype for Holy v Tyson 2 but the first fight was not a classic like the brawl in Montreal, people knew nothing iconic was going to happen, the reason Tyson v Holy is remembered is the ear bite, Tyson was gone by this stage and didn`t put up much of a fight, Leonard wasn`t dominating in New Orleans the way Holy dominated Tyson in both fights because Holy was landing more than Ray was in his rematch and Duran was far sharper than Tyson was, Ray was only marginally ahead on the scorecards. 'no mas' will always be iconic.

Loma would toy with Fenech and GGG would outjab Benn easily, not even close. GGG v Hagler is the won at middle for me no question.

Agree. Hagler's the one guy that I think would be a really stiff test for GGG and up till recently I've been favouring Hagler.

Fenech has a lot of activity. I almost said Azumah Nelson vs. Loma which is another good one. I think Hagler's style destroyed GGG easily. Almost like the Sibson fight. Picks him apart. Hagler said Sibson was very strong, I was surprised to read that. I think that Benn would make it a fight and test GGG's chin more than anyone would.

It needs to be or else it's name the six fights you'd most like to have seen,

If not fights that actually happened, how about six fights between contemporaries that either actually or could have happened? That way it gets spread across the weights. Here's a starter for ten...

Nov 1991, Mike Tyson doesn't injure his rib. Don King and Bob Arum declare an Armistice and allow fighters they promote to fight whoever they want. In no order other than HW fight goes towards the end.

    JWW: Chavez v Whitaker
    MW: Toney v McCallum
    MW: Benn v Jackson
JFW: Humberto Gonzalez v Ricardo Lopez
    HW: Holyfield v Tyson
    Catchweight: King v Arum
