Barney Ross and Roberto Duran get a ton of discussion. Carlos Monzon too. You can always count on this forum to be clogged up with a ton of weird hypothetical heavyweight match-ups that are sure to raise your eyebrows. I'll log on and see Eddie Machen vs. David Tua, 12rds or Greg Page vs. Tom Sharkey, 15rds and laugh. At least 50 percent of the time those match-ups involve either Mike Tyson or George Chuvalo. George Chuvalo vs. Lionel Butler 10rds. or Mike Tyson vs. Ross Purrity 15 rds.
Yep, Leonard-Hagler is probably the most discussed controversial decision. No one on either side of that debate will ever give an inch (me included)...

Roberto Duran ..and it's not even close . You can make a thread about who had the best jab and someone will say Duran. The best left hook ..Duran. The best uppercut...Duran . The best chin of all time...Duran ...the best foot work ...you guessed it ,Duran

I'm not suprised he said that. Some people earned a right to their ego. And some nuts really just deserve being hugged. To be that good you gotta be crazy.
To be fair I've been here over a decade and never seen Duran mentioned in the dozens and dozens of best jab threads
There were/are times in this forum where it seems the only active threads that get a second page are about Tyson. He is by far most popular fighter of the last 40 years for the boxing fan who is not a nerd.
