Ortiz is 39 which means he is past his prime but that doesn't mean he is so old he can't beat somebody who is as unskilled as Parker.
Parker definitely. He has a far better chin, best chin in the division for me (At least in terms of the top guys). And more importantly, he has way better stamina. Ortiz is the better boxer yes, but to win on points you have to go 12 rounds. Parker will catch him and then use his constant aggression to get to Ortiz. Parker by TKO, round 9 or so.
Not sure where you’re getting this confidence in Parker from. Andy Ruiz Jr edged him imo, Takam deserved a draw, Hughie Fury fight was close as well. Ortiz is at least a level above all of those guys and would beat them handily.
Yeah, sure, I keep hearing this talk about Ortiz but I can't seem to find anything of note in his career aside from a win against Bryant Jennings? Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place....? To me, he looks like a faded old Cuban technician who would get steam-rollered by an experienced, fit young lion like Parker. The hype must be based on something I'm sure, please could you point me to the evidence that Ortiz is clearly a level above most of the top 10 at HW, can't find it on Youtube or elsewhere.....
He is 100% older than that. It’s an open secret. Even companies like sky sports, who would normally not dare accuse someone of being older than stated unless they felt there was credibility behind it, have strongly suggested it. King Kong said he used to watch Ali fight live! And here lies my skepticism with the real King Kong. I thought he was the main man back in 2016 but he’s getting worse and worse.
I favour Parker as well, but not just based on the last fight but from a few of them before the Wilder fight
