    I can’t believe I’m going to defend him, especially for such an ignorant sounding claim, but I’m guessing he was talking about his marketability in which case it’s a bit of an undeniable fact that speaking English helps in that department, even if Canelo is still huge without it. If he meant it on a personal level, then yeah he’s a dumb****

    Adam Smith probably was referring to his marketability but didn't Canelo just sign the richest deal in boxing? Clearly his refusal to speak English is not a "fault".

    I may be wrong but I think he will make it look very easy,may even try standing up in his corner like he did against Chavez Jnr.
    Imo if he does try that s*** then this could be the only way Fielding has a glimmer of a chance,even Fielding height ain’t gonna save him imo as Canelo is such a brutal body puncher and has to be the best in the game at the body thing.

    It’s a bit of a pointless thing to argue because we’ll never know. I’m sure there’s an argument to be made that he would’ve gotten an even richer deal if he spoke English but at that level of cash, who the **** even cares lol
