Fielding, at least wipe that ****-eating grin off your face. We knew he had no chance from the start, that the fight was a joke, but the way Fielding basically bowed out without doing a thing, was pathetic.

Why even make this fight? Why would Canelo want this fight? Does he think it is impressing anyone?

The spotlight ought to be taken off of Canelo until he takes boxing a little more seriously. Until he starts going through the top MW's, Charlo, Jacobs, Lemieux, Andrade, BJS, whoever. Just step up.

I give Canelo a pass for this one. He just fought ggg twice and doesn’t want to cut weight towards the end of the year.
But he should fight at least one of the guy you mentioned next year, 2 if they cannot come to term with ggg trilogy.

A bit harsh on Rocky. He threw what he had at Canelo, it was never going to be enough. He's levels below him, he can't help that.

What do you expect the guy to do? Say "Nah I'll turn down my highest ever pay day against the biggest star in the sport, because I can't win and the fans don't want to see it"?

All but the most deluded knew this was a mismatch going in. No one should be surprised that Fielding got destroyed

It should have never been on the table for Rocky to decide in the first place. This fight should have never been made.

If DAZN doesn't get their act together and deliver real fights they will not be around long.

Don’t see the problem with Canelo testing the water at SMW and winning a world title into the bargain, 3 months after beating GGG.

DAZN deal falls out if Canelo loses. His best option is still Lemieux. Perhaps they could arrange a big KO fight for Lemieux in a month or two, like the one against Stevens, and then put him in with Canelo in May.

There are about 5 posters on here who orgasmed to the fight. Rabid fans of a fighter and not fans of boxing is the cause for matches like this.

Its not a world title. The WBA tittle is held by Smith. This is an fing 2nd place WBA belt.

I don't give him a pass. It was a disgraceful Cherry pick against the weakest "belt holder" at the weight. Fielding never had a chance but Fishnets added insult to injury by implementing a rehydration clause in the contract. I hope Fielding got paid well for selling his soul. He should probably retire, hard not to imagine that he didn't make a decent chunk here.

What a petty, bitter hater. Man up and give credit where credit is due.

Did anyone expect it to be particularly competitive? It was a mismatch the day it was signed. Boxing history is littered with these sorts of fights. It's part of the sport.

The fight was a mismatch obviously, but to knock a guys heart in the ring ? thankfully these views are held by people not involved in real life boxing... anyone with half a brain cell can work out why Canelos team would have been ****ing dying for this fight to get made, when you going to get a better chance to win a 'title' at a 3rd weight ? Rocky would have made good money and fair play to him.
