We all knew and agreed that Canelo was the better fighter going in but moving up a division and beating a top ten guy in that div. is a pretty decent win.

Dazn making the same mistake HBO did. Overpaying for mismatches.

Christopher Rebrasse a french tough nut journeyman battered the hell out of Fielding, so this was no surprise.

Fielding is basically an American level fighter.

If you feel the need to say relax son, when someone simply and calmly points out dazn overpaying for mismatches, youre probably the one that needs to relax

This is the opening act... followed most likely by a lemieux fight. Which is... another mismatch.

Anyways, I dont really care... he just fought G so while I dont like it its usually fairly ceremonial to have an easier fight after a tough one, and Im down for a fun lemieux fight. But that doesnt change the fact that DAZN is making HBOs mistake of paying big money for showcase fights.

Lemieux doesn't belong with that group man. Saunders reminded us what Lemieux's limitations are. For him to get considered, he should have to face and beat a top level guy. He hasn't.

If you watch his previous fights you will see that is the way he fights. He negates his advantages. He was a perfect choice for Canelo, which is why he was chosen.

I tend to agree with you, however, in this case, since Lemieux has power he can potentially give Canelo trouble if he elects to go toe to toe.

Canelo won't fight Lemieux the same way he fought Fielding. He'll apply the Golovkin approach and try slipping a lot of punches and counterpunch

First of all, it is Fielding, not Feldman. Second, Martirosyan was a last minute replacement after Clenelo failed his drug test. It wasn't GGG's fault. You guys amaze me how you come up with ways to denigrate GGG when he is not even dictating outcomes. GGG may be a fighter first but he is a businessman second. It would have made no sense for GGG to fight someone like a Charlo while waiting for Clenelo to get off his PEDs and potentially lose an opportunity to get the biggest payday of his career. Unrealistic expectations in a one-way manner.

As long as the odds are put in his favor. Fighting smaller guys past their prime. Waiting until GGG is in his mid-30s. Fighting a weight drained JCCjr at a catch weight. Fought Floyd when he was 36. While knowing he has the judges and the money behind him. The list is long. Yeah, he is quite the risk taker. NOT.

We all know what the fight was just an easy fight after two wars with GGG and to get an easy belt at a higher weight class
