Canelo is 5-0 against Brits but put him in with Billy Joe and Young Christopher and it’s 5-2

He would make Eubank look bad and probably stop him.

Realistically, the Brits he has fought haven't been up to much. Liam Smith, Matt Hatton, Rhodes and Fielding are all European level at best. Only Khan was genuinely world class, but two weight classes smaller and packing a glass chin.

I think Canelo is too skilled for Eubank. Saunders at his best is close to 50/50. Think Callum Smith beats him, the sheer size disadvantage against a guy who can also box and hit is a tough combo to overcome.

Eubank would take him to hell and back. Canelo would be on the back foot against Eubank trying to counterpunch all night long. Canelo would realise very quickly that the body shots have no effect on Eubank.

At 160 it would be tough for Eubank but at 168 it’s in Eubank’s favour IMO.

Come on man... Saunders probably outboxes him similarly to Lara but Canelo would whoop Eubank

In 2019 I would love to see Canelo v Saunders and Golovkin v Eubank. Ideally on the same card. Winners face off in the next fight.

Peak Saunders would decision Canelo 9-3 or 8-4.
Or at the very least he would deserve a decision.

    Eubank? Don't see it. Levels.
Stylistically eubanks chin and workrate might give him problems but I just don't think eubanks is elite world level. I think he is a step below the very top level

    Saunders gets robbed.
CEJ probably quits in his corner during 7-9th round due to an "injury".
Smith puts Canelo and Canelo's pet cow down in the same night.

This. BJS has the tools, skill set, speed, and cleverness to beat Canelo. Eubank Jr. on the other hand would get toyed with by Canelo. Eubank is too one dimensional and would be easy pickings for Canelo’s counters.

I think a lot of people here are in denial about Eubank’s class.

Canelo is not Groves. Eubank struggled against Groves because he was so long and had one of the best jabs in boxing. It was the range that caused the problems and the sheer size, especially height.

Canelo’s short arms won’t do anything against Eubank’s dynamic head movement and at 168 Eubank’s steel body will take those body shots all day long.

Eubank lost by one round to Saunders in a fight many scored a draw. It was a SD. Eubank was all over him in the second half.

There’s no precedence to suggest that Canelo would beat Eubank easily. If Canelo was foolish enough to trade with Eubank at 168 he’d get eaten alive.

Young Christopher has just taken almost one whole year off to recuperate from his hand issues and to generally take some time off of taking head shots (I don’t class his fight against McDonagh as a real fight).

A lot of people are in for a shock when he returns and comes chasing after Canelo and Golovkin.
