I think he should fight smith, derevyanchenko, Jacobs, or ggg

I believe he might actually do better than most people would think. I’d favor Beterbiev but I think Canelo would hang around until the later rounds and have his moments. I doubt he can knock Beterbiev out though, unless he just lands a perfect shot.

 

You guys now have Canelo going up to LHW to beat an absolute monster of
a man when he still isn't "clearly" the best MW and jusst fought a SMW that isn't
even really a top 10 SMW...................Perspective guys, please just a little perspective

 

That's the paradox of Canelo: an amazing talent with an asterisk next to many of his best wins...

 

Batterbiev will need to flatten Canelo to win.

 

This is the equivalent of Mikey fighting Spence. I think Canelo would have a better chance of outpointing Beterbiev, though, than Mikey beating Spence. If Artur can't stop Canelo all bets would be off on the cards, regardless of how the fight played out. We all know this. Even though AB is a more powerful fighter I would not put much money on him in this fight, though he would have to be at least a 2-1 favorite.

 

I'm waiting for a "Canelo vs Mike Tyson" thread with an opening post stating they both walk around at same weight.

 

People are getting far far too carried away. Said in another thread, Canelo vs the actual SMW champions apart from smith is competitive. I give him very little chance at 175.
