He did not win 116-113 , but draw is ok and no fury did not school wilder , nor he schooled wlad. So far I have not seen Fury beat any decent heavyweight convincingly, that’s why I think Juiceshua beats him, actually KO’s him.
First of all, the brother has a weight problem. But he’s actually achieved more in boxing than 99% of the people who post on this site. Second of all, his score makes perfect sense to me. I had Wilder also, but by a wider score. Dan got this one right!
No bueno. I scored live, and was purposely hyper conservative as an experiment, and scored it 114-112 Fury.
Then Dan knows what he is talking about then. At the very least 7 of the rounds should of been scored even. Fury did land more punches in 9 out of the 12 rounds. But in 7 of those rounds he landed 1 or 2 more punches. You don't win rounds by landing 1 or 2 more punches. 3 rounds Wilder landed more punches. 1 of those rounds he landed 1 or 2 more punches. Which means that round should be even. In 2 rounds Fury landed more than 2 more punches than Wilder and in 2 rounds Wilder landed more than 2 punches than Fury. Fury also went down 2 times. He lost period. In a boring fight that only you casuals think was exciting. Fury runs like the typical cowardly European. Wilder has no skills like all character modern heavyweights. What a joke that fight was.
The thing is, there are 4 scoring criteria. It's not just clean punches landed, for example, you can score by making your opponent miss, i.e defense. The fighter seen to be controlling the action also gets scoring credit.
Right that is called being a casual fan. You don't win rounds by running and not landing punches. People like you see things the way you want. I bet you if Fury was the champion and Wilder ran you would be saying Wilder lost because running doesn't get you rounds. But of course since you aren't a fan of Wilder and you wanted Fury to win you will see it the opposite. In any case Fury ran and only landed 84 punches/ 7 punches per round. Wilder landed 71 punches/5.9 punches per round. Which is a boring fight.
I don't really see what the whole hullaballo over this fight scoring is. Fury threw a whopping TWENTY punches a round and landed SEVEN and they were pitty pats. I think Wilder threw 24 and landed 6. Fury knew he was fighting away from home, if he really wanted it he should have thrown more punches.
