    No, it wasn't fixed. Canelo is few levels above fringe contender Rocky Fielding, so the size difference didn't matter at all.

    Fielding just sucks and was drained into the bargain. Clenelo with stacked wraps was always going to do a number on him.

    The fight wasn't fixed, don't be stupid. Why would they need the fight fixed if Canelo is clearly levels above Fielding? They chose him for a reason. An easy fight with an easy belt to win at a higher weight. Were the big red marks on his body from the heavy punches fixed too?

    As for him smiling, he was smiling through a grimace, in acknowledgment of the quality of Canelo IMO. Like he was saying, "damn he's good, he got me!"

    Victor Ortiz is a great example of that. He lacks the mental fortitude to push through so he smiles to protect himself.

    Can you imagine how teed fans were, though, who paid good money to be there and basically have a sparring session play out before them? The real diehard Canelo fans are going to love it but most are going to be teed. Fielding put up no resistance whatsoever. That's the problem sometimes with boxing. Guys can make ridiculous amounts of money while putting up very little resistance, from basically showing up and cashing in their chips. I'd love to see a different payout system put into place. Give each fighter a guarantee to cover expenses and make some money, but also pay the winner something like 75%, the loser 25% of net proceeds. Give some real incentive to perform.

    It wasn’t fixed fielding just sucks and only took the fight to get a paycheck and go home. It was pretty embarrassing
