    Loma humiliates current Pac.

Loma vs prime Pac is 50/50.

    137 catchweight needed!

    135 or no fight!

    No fight because he old!

Pac has just turned 40...he has a lot of miles on the clock.

He's lost 4 of his last 10 fights and hasn't fought below 140lbs since he fought Hatton in 2009.

What would it do for Loma to beat on Pac for a few rounds?

A clearly past his best drained Pac...

Loma is right not to pursue that.

    Cool.

But why did he say he needed a year?

Why did he then say it would have to be at a catchweight?

Why did he then say it would have to be at 135?

Why did he then say no fight at all?

Probably because he respects Pacquiao and would feel embarrassed to take the scalp of a once-great fighter that's clearly on the slide. Holmes beating the crap out of Ali made him extremely unpopular, for instance. But if people truly think Pac kicks his ass at 135 then maybe they should do it. To me its obvious that Loma would be too much for Pac today.

    But.

But I've been wrong on picks before and it could be that what is an obvious Loma win to me, turns out to be a loss instead.

Maybe they should do the fight.

I do believe that Lomachenko wants to cement his place in boxing history. But to say that he won't take a fight out of respect is silly. And then there are his comments which clearly reflect a risk/reward analysis done by him or his team and in the end, the answer is no. It's called moving the goal post.

I love Loma, but it's clear to me that he doesn't want to fight Pac because it's a very risky proposal. Pac probably walks around at 140-145—definitely smaller than Pedraza/Linares/Mikey. That's why I believe that he can make 135 without being drained. If Pac's speed/power increases even slightly going down to 140/135, Loma will be in serious trouble.

Pedraza and Linares fight nothing like Pacquiao, so if your basing your hopes of a Pac blowout on that, don't.

Timing nullifies speed, you should be focusing on Pac's struggles with Morales, Floyd and JMM instead.

Loma wins a 8-4 type of decision. In a not all that dissimilar performance from the GRJ schooling.

People never let the Ks live down not having a name ATG on their resumes. Holyfield was still looking for a championship fight opportunity when they were both co champs. They should have given him the chance. Anyone who thinks substituting their weakest defence with a win over shot Holyfield wouldn't have meaningfully helped both their ATG standings is being very naive.

That's right. They don't fight anything like Pacquiao. And they bring far less to the table than even the current Pacquiao. Pacquiao knocked out Matthysse, had Horn out on his feet, shut out Vargas and dropped him, and shut out and dropped Bradley 2X in his last four fights. Pedraza had Lomachenko looking like he was in a car crash. You're on drugs if you think Loma has an easy time with Pacquiao. You're also on drugs if you don't think Pacquiao has a better than good chance of KOing Loma.

And Loma turned down the fight after moving the goal post a few times. That doesn't signal to you that they see Pacquiao as a strong threat?

For the record, I'm happy to admit that Pac has no chance against Crawford or Spence. Both are too big and too strong for him. Loma is Pac-sized. Pac ****s Loma the **** up.

Prime Pac beats Loma IMO. That's a true monster. This Pac, I'm leaning towards Loma.
